I've returned the Target exclusive RHINO gijoe vehicle and the Gunship simply because they were not my cup of tea. Really ugly space consumeing heaps.

I returned a stalker skorponok because the mechanism was defective and the gears would mash.

I bought a second one from walmart. It had loose legs for some reason so I partswaped the defective skorponoks legs with that one. (Before the return.) So my current stalker has tight legs and a smooth mechanism. The combined best of two skorponoks.

Only once, and it was because I didn't want it.....

PUT THE PITCHFORKS DOWN!!!!!!! I'll explain:

I had an Energon Shockwave that broke in half at the waist joint. So I sent it to Hasbro for replacement (HUGE mistake, I now know). Anyway they sent me back Energon Jetfire, I returned it to TRU, and used the giftcard to buy Energon Sixshot.

    There, everyone happy?

okay as long as it was still seal in package everyone is usually cool with it its returning because you don't like it after you take it out of the packaging so if you never unsealed that Jetfire its all good

-->This. If a Transformer came broken I'd put it out of it's misery and get another.

only ever had to return one.
my entry into classics 2.0 was sunstreaker. i took him home and transformed him, and he was missing both of his feet.
brought him back and got another one, both feet intact.
i brought him back without the package, just the reciept. so hopefully it never made it back out.

Never, actually. I've had some minor quality issues but none so severe I had to return the toy. Thankfully.

I admit I have returned about 4 figures in say 3 or 4 years, first was Universe 2.0 Prowl,
you should know this, then Animated Swoop yhose legs just popped off if you just looked
them, next was Universe 2.0 Onslaught, and lastly was ROTF Jetfire as his legs wouldn't
allow him to stand like he should, thankfully 3 out of the 4 ended up being alright, but one
I had I ended up having to repair myself.

Now I am not saying its right taking stuff back but I think if the fig is defective you
should,I just don't think its right to do it if there ain't tho, like if you just don't like it
after you've opened it,I say just give it to someone else say your kids or nephews or
    something.Later all.

if it was a legends or somethinge the petrol would probably cost more than the figure so why not, but are you seriously saying that if you picked up a Masterpiece Grimlock (for example) and it came out the box broken, you would just toss it away and buy another? that'd just make you a mug, mate.

Well, I never did get a broken MP, at least not yet. :lol  The worst I've done this with is a Voyager. I'd most likely write the vendor over a broken MP. I'd keep the broken one for parts if I didn't need to return it.

Just once. I had purchased Cybertron Brimstone and a couple other figs at Wal-Mart. Got home and opened them and nothing wrong. Then I opened Brimstone, who seemed fine at first, but when I went to transform him his foot simply would not unpeg from the underside of his Pteranodon<sp?> beast mode(his leg formed the body of it).

After much pulling and prying it finally came loose, but the peg snapped off in his foot. And from the way it appeared, it seemed like the plastic of the bottom of his foot and underside of the dino body had somehow melted and fused together. How that could've happened I have absolutely no idea. But this was the middle of Summer, so maybe it'd been in the back of a hot truck too long?

Anyway, I repackaged it and returned it the next day for another Brimstone, which was perfectly fine.

I think that is wrong. If you break it you should buy a new one.

I returned Universe Powerglide because one of the wings snapped off while transforming it. I returned it to Walmart. They gave me a gift card and I used it to buy another Powerglide.

Never. I'm pretty MISB, so I don't get many chances to find out they're broken, but of the ones I've opened (and bought for my kids) I haven't had one yet in bad enough shape to return. As far as I'm concerned, that's the only good reason to return one. Just because it turns out you don't like the toy doesn't cut it. Look at pictures, read a review. Once you've cracked the seal, it's yours.
