Just wondering I'm also on a Ford blog so it's kinda a habit.
Honda. Eat that, soon-to-be-bankrupt-over-priced-American-car-company!
I have a 2005 Ranger Edge. Love my truck, but my next car will probably be an Acura TI.
Sweet are going to get the new 2009 Acura TL or a previous Gen model.
I have an 05 mustang (Alt. Grimlock). I'm meh on Ford. Engine is good, bummers are damn good, but it's the little things breaking that really bug me.
I drive a Scion xB.. Suck it US cars! you cheap pieces of crap!
I had a '67 Mustang fastback and a '96 Mustang convertible. My mom has an '05 convertible. Right now I have two Dodge cars.
PS: Hondas are boring but I have nothing really against them...
But Scion-Toyota-Lexus are human rights violators. The dastards.
Right now, I drive Jeep.
Fords are okay. I'd like to get myself a Mustang sometime in the future.
Have a 2000 Focus. It's a nice little car but I hate Ford's ass backwards way their cars are. Since 2000 was the first US year it had 37 recalls and a known faulty ignition which isn't a danger, so it's not/wasn't a free repair. The fuse for the remote door lock controller (and the internal lock and trunk release buttons) is on the back side of the fuse box. This required both a metric and US standard set of sockets and a lot of work to change the only fuse on the back of the fuse box. I've had to buy so many random tools and the added work just to repair simple things.
I like their style but I hate their engineering.
I currently drive an 07 Ford Focus but prefer to ride my 09 Genuine Buddy Italia. Once I get her, my SYM RV 250 will be my primary ride.
we have a focus. it's alright. way better than the malibu we used to have.
Fixed Or Repaired Daily. Fucking Old Rebuilt Dodge. Found On Road Dead.
I owned a 1980 Ford F150 truck in high school (purchased in 1996 from my parents) and it ran beautifully until the day I sold it, in 2000. It wasn't aesthetically pleasing (a lot of paint coming off), the passenger door inside handle didn't work and there were some other minor glitches, but it had no serious problems whatsoever. I was very happy with it and, hopefully, whatever car I buy next will be able to hold up for 20 years doing just as well.
That said, I have no intention of ever buying a Ford in the future, as I refuse to support the UAW in any way whatsoever.
2007 Mustang (red). Gets me from point A to point B.
I have an '08 Mustang that I really dig, but as far as Ford as a whole, I'm "meh" about it.
I feel your pain. Or at least I used to. Grimmy was sold to make way for Mimic (see below).
I'd be all about Ford if I could afford a Ford GT.
Otherwise, I drive a Ford van for work every day, and the having to deal with them for repairs and the overall quality of the few I have driven makes me glad I only buy Japanese.
Honda, Ford, VW and Chevy in my garages (yes, plural).
