The theme song is cool but I think they should at least change the opening scene. The opening scene looks like its set for Season 1 because they are still introducing the characters. The end of the video it looks like how Season 1 ended with Optimus and Megatron fighting in front of the volcano spewing dark energon. I think they should show a few clips showing whats to be expected of the upcoming season or making it into Opening credits. But that's my Opinion, what do you guys think should be done.

They need to keep the theme song just change the opening cut scenes.

 

I think after this Orion Pax 3 parter they'll update the footage but keep the same music. With an instrumental opening like this, they can't really insert new scenes without it looking weird, like they could do with a song that had lyrics...but anyways, this show doesn't seem like the type that wants to spoil anything with the opening before it actually happens..so after this 3 parter, maybe they can adjust a few things because facts will be establish... #2 cents.

 

Well, first of all, I almost always skip the opening scene w/ the theme song, unless it is my first time seeing it. So, short answer: It'd be cool if they did, but I won't complain of they don't.

I still don't see the need to change it...yet...maybe if significant characters are added...or deleted by the end of Season 2.

 

I really dislike the theme track, I think it should be changed. It's too generic to really sound good but the video part of the intro is fine.

 

Would I like them to? Yes
Should they? No. Reason being that the show takes so long to animate as is. They have more important things to work on than an opening.

 

Change the opening after 5 episodes or so. The only reason to change the opening graphics is to account for new characters , and frankly, I don't want to learn that Jazz is coming to the show by seeing him in the opening titles 3 eps before he comes.

 

I agree that the scenes should be changed. I was thinking that during the opening of the season two premiere. It reminds me of Beast Wars. They kept the same theme, but changed the images to scenes from season two. It would seem fitting if Prime did the same.

 

I really don't see a reason to. There would be no point and it just take up time. Maybe if later on there are major changes in the cast and settings, then alright. But for now, to little has changed.

 

With no cast changes, there's little reason to. It will probably be more likely next year, or maybe towards the end of the season.

 

I was thinking maybe change it to show clips from the previous season. But I'm not sure if that would work or look good or "fit".

 

i would rather they use what resources they have on the show itself, not redoing the intro.

Maybe next season, but everything has a price - if redoing the intro meant not having enough to develpo a new character (or something like that) i would rather they spend the money on the new character

Starting with the script.

 

The opening theme is getting a bit boring for me, so I'd really like it if they changed it. I don't see much of a reason to change the opening scenes as of yet, though. Once they start adding new characters, then I'm up for a new opening.

 

Yes but that probably won't happen since because of the budget.

But I was really hoping they were going to, and was disappointed to see they didn't.

Still, I'm sure there are better and much more important ways for them to be spending the money. The actual episodes being good is the important thing.

I don't care either way. The show can go on 4 seasons with the same opening for all I care.
