The only fig I have two of is the CS Soundwave because he and the cassttes that came with him, were my favorite TFs as a kid...I might buy encore Prime and Megs to keep in case something happens to ones I have.

 

I usually just buy one figure.

The only exception I make is for my old Beast Wars figures, who have suffered damage from the days when I used to play with my toys as an actual kid lol. Most of them are in surprisingly good shape still.

 

I usually buy only 1 figure each. But for doubles, I have Megatron, Predaking, Soundwave, Bumblebee, and 3 Hot Rods.

 

One, and I generally do not like buying more than one of a character for a variant or size difference (unless it is a huge improvement like with Leader Brawl).

 

I typically get two; one for opening and one for preserving. I enjoy having them boxed because it brings back memories of me strolling down the aisles of Toys R' Us dreaming.

 

i used to buy 2 of each but it got to crazy, ran out of storage space and made me broke lol so i stoped doing it that way and now only buy one of each, most of the time i will leave them closed like the Optimus Prime movie titanium i bought tonight that has the protoform , truck and Truck bot modes, i dont see a need to open those cause they have a pretty nice display package .. But the Voyager movie bots i been buying i do open to transform once and then ill put it back in the box and then try and find a shelf spot lol .. I stoped collecting during the cybertron and energon times , those toys didnt intrest me so i stuck with buying from Japan and there exclusives and stuff.. Im only collecting certain Lines now , no more mass buying for me lol , unless its somethin that i think i can sell on my site then i may buy one or two ..

 

the only toy I ever bought multiples of was Cybertron Scrapmetal, I bought 20 of them, wrecked one, gave a few away, and turned the rest into a giant monster

 

None - 'cept classics Starscream which I plan to kitbash into classics Thundercracker once I find the time.

 

I bought the original Hotshot and his Hotrodish repaint because he looked so damn cool.

 

I have 6 G1 Frenzy, 4 Rumbles, and 4 Lazerbeaks.

 

More often than not I get only one. Exceptions are Starscream, as I get at least 2 one to open and one to keep sealed. I have also gotten multiple Skyblasts and Divebombs from Energon, I just fell in love with them.

 

i have like 50milloin transformers and i buy about 50 a week!!

Mainly just one of each, classics and Alts I bought 2, one for display, the other for misb. And I have a bad habit of collecting G1 Jetfires. I'm up to six right now but had 9 at one point.

 

Never buy duplicates. It's just stupid in my book. I dont criticize other who do it, and I'd do it myself if I were giving it to someone else. I just cant enjoy having two of the same toy, regardless of how kickass it is.

I normaly buy one but if i really like it then i buy two for each mode.

 

I'll buy two if I really like the mold or the packaging. Other than that, it's just one.
The exception to the rule is the 20th Anniversary Prime. I have three of him, but I just couldn't resist!
