That would hopefully only end that particular version of TF movie and there would be a reboot later down the line.

So I suppose the answer is as many as there will be. This is a question no-one can ever really correctly answer with a specific number. I guess the closest you could come to answering this question with an actual number is zero more movies. Until the next one is actually made and completed that is the correct answer.
Yes, I'm in one of those awkward moods today. :p

I hope six is all, unless they do a prequel based on WFC.

I will be like the Saw films. Made all the way up to 7 movies just for the gore and traps. I have a feel Transformers will do the sae but for the purpose of many explosions and CG robots. Not that I mind, I love explosions. :bay

It's honestly hard to say at this point. Paramount and Hasbro really need the franchise at this point so as long as they are making a good profit at the box office they are likely to keep pushing out films.

The big unknown is the movie going public. They can love your franchise one year and a few years later they can decide they are over you. So I guess maybe the question is how can the films continue to be successful without burning people out on the movies.

Yeah, and we all know how well that turned out. The series should've ended when John kicked the bucket in Saw 3; it got stale as fuck afterwards.

There are exactly 3.75 more movies planned. After that, Hasbro will cancel the Transformers franchise forever and ban all toys from existence.
