I've been meaning to ask this for a while, ever since the Ultimate Edition came out.

I've got 4 different copies of the same film!

    i) Canadian release. Bog standard cropped Pan and Scan,
ii) HK release. Bog Standard, full frame Pan and Scan.
iii) Ultimate Edition 1. Special edition version widescreen.
iv) Ultimate edition 2. The crappy version that came with the the special edition.

But I know there were at least three more versions, the PSP UMD and Reconstructed, and the otiginal 80's VHS...

    How many do YOU have?

I've got a couple. I've got an old PVT Rental copy, the Canadian release VHS, Rhino DVD, the 2007 DVD, and the Madman release.

On hand, I have three. The two different versions that came with Sony BMG's Ultimate anniversary edition DVD, and the original US Rhino DVD release which was touted as a "Collector's Edition"

I also have, somewhere in the deep recesses of my personal storage, an old mouldy VHS version, with 5 seconds taped over. If I count that, that makes four.

I have the Rhino and the 2007 DVD, I also have an old copy on VHS that still works. It shares the tape with the Gobots Movie.

A VHS dub from waaaaaay the hell back in the day, along with some original eps.
A more recent (early '90s) VHS dub of better quality.
That there Canadian release from a while back.
    The Rhino VHS.
    20th Anniv. DVD.

Obtained in that order..as each was superior to the previous one at the time. I skipped the barebones DVD release b/c I figured the official VHS would tide me over until the inevitable bells and whistles DVD.

At the moment I only have the Ultimate Edition, however, in the past I've had the Rhino DVD and the Chinese edition that came with my G1 episodes.

Anytime I get a new copy of the movie I give the old one to a friend who's curious as to why I like TF's.

Not sure, but quite a few.

There's the original one I taped off Sky Movies when they first showed it, but I think that tape's beyond useless now.
I was gutted about that, as I then didn't have a copy for years until I picked up a copy on VHS from Transforce 2000.
Then I later found them on sale in a local shop for a couple of quid each, and to prevent my previous tragedy (after several years without the movie, I wasn't going to risk going through that again!), I think I picked up three copies there (actually four, but I then gave one to a mate).
A couple of years later, they brought out the Sony one with the Headmasters episode on it, so I got that.
'Course, not long after that I got a PS2, and found the Sony version on DVD, so I picked that up - but it went missing, so I replaced it. Then the original one turned up again.
So that's five on VHS (to my recollection), plus the trashed one, and two DVD copies, both the same.

I've got 3 - original 1980s VHS release, original 2001 DVD release (the one with the Headmasters ep) and UK Ultimate Edition in collector's tin.
