Ive been collecting since I was around 4. My earliest comics are from the late Mcfarlane era spider-man.
I have total 2402 comicbooks, and well over 50 TPBs.
this isnt me trying to show how big my nerd cock is. Im just genuinly interested in your collections.

Christ, no idea. 30+ long boxes full. Gotta be quite a few thousand. We're talking 20 years worth at this point.

I'm with Dev at this point. been collecting since 5th grade. So that adds to...16+ years. I have 22 long boxes. Last count was years ago at was the 3-4000 range. Now I shudder to think.

And if you really want ot get depressed. Don't count your books, could the cover price or what you paid for them. That'll kill you.

7 or 8 long boxes. So that's got to be in the region of 1750-2000. And maybe 50 TPBs - so that's maybe another 250-300 issues.

My closet has 14 full short boxes in it, been collecting on and off for the last 16 years or so. I seriously cut back my subscriptions a few months ago when I moved, I came to the realization that I was just accumulating way too many comics. I would like to collect more older comics at this point and fewer new ones.

Ten years ago, I had ~2000 but sold the vast majority of them. Not including trades, I currently have about 100 - 150 comics right now; the more valuable/interesting ones from my old collection and those I've purchased since getting back into the hobby a little in the last year or so.

    Limited scope, but complete sets.

    - Every Transformers-related comic ever produced - Marvel, Dreamwave, and IDW, plus every known alternate and retailer incentive cover.

    - Complete sets of the original Alpha Flight and West Coast Avengers.

That's it - not one other book! As to the numbers - fairly low by comparison to others... six or seven short boxes.

15 short boxes or so and 3 long boxes for most/all the Spider-Man stuff, so somewhere just over 2,000 I guess. Scary enough, considering that aside from completing the Marvel TF run prior, I only got back into buying comics 5 years ago.

I've got about 10 short boxes sitting in my living room right now, and about 6 long boxes in my parents attic. I keep one long box exclusively for Hulk books.

Shit, I thought I had a lot. 6 long boxes and healthily working towards my 7th (thanks, 52!). I've never done an actual physical count of my comics, but it's one of those things I should do one of "these days".

The question here is, are these long boxes with bags AND boards? Boards tend to take away alot of a storage space, and not everyone uses them. I personally do use them for the most part.

back home (Hawaii) with my bro, we have about 10 boxes (the Home Depot storage boxes) in the storage room and about 5-10 more out and about.

With me (in Oregon), i have about 4 long boxes, 2 short boxes, and about 8 Home Depot boxes....

    that's a lot.

I have roughly 700. I was collecting like no one's business in the mid-90's but fell off shortly after the Cable-XMan-Exodus storyline. I went back briefly when the 80's retro was alive, but I've been off an on depending on the scene. I think if I still collected like I used to, I'd have 1500-2000 easy.
