Ah..... I remember those days, just replace Beast Wars with Cybertron and 1st grade with 3rd grade.

 

I have always liked transformers but never became a proper fan until the end of the Unicron Trilogy/Beginning animated era. My earliest memories of tfs is the episode Commandos in RID when i was about 5. A week later I got my first figure RID Megatron. I broke that in two days and got RID Prowl which a broke about a week after that. When armada started i watched it before school every day and loved it (back then i had no idea that it was poorly dubbed). Fast forward to now and I have yet to start collecting any figures but am saving all my money for tf prime figs so YAY

 

Was a fan ever since 1998, but took a break when the Yu-Gi-Oh craze was going on

 

Fall 1984

 

Started with Armada, then I started watching G1 VHS tapes at the same time of Armada/Energon, so a little of both. But my first experience with Transformers was Armada.

 

Since 1984.

 

My being a fan goes like this:

- 1984-86, a fan of the cartoon series, but never bought any of the toys; Sort of forgot about TF stuff until:
- 2007, became a fan again because of TFTM, still did not buy any of the toys for myself, although I got some for my nephew; and
- 2009, bought a toy for myself for the first time an ROTF Legends Bee, after watching the movie, that started it all, now I collect Bee stuff and also a fan of the G1 series/movie, as well as of the movieverse trilogy.

 

I've been around since the Generation 2 area. I read some of the comics, watched the reruns, and had the toys. My true era is Beast Wars because that's when I really got into watching every episode and trying to get every toy. I remained a loyal fan from then on out watching the TV shows and purchasing retail released toys. When the Bayverse movies came out my interest exploded again. And here we are today.

 

Became a fan in the RID years

 

Since 1996 when Beast Wars came out (I was born in 1988 so.. yeah.. kinda missed out on G1   )

Although Beast Wars definitely did get me into G1 and I've seen every episode of that a bunch of times too lol

Since the G1 era but then I was off of TF for a long long time till 02' and then been a fan every since then.

 

i voted movies cause thats when the obsession started, but i have RID toys and even remember watching Beast Wars

 

Saw TF1 on TV the day before the ROTF premiere.

 

From the beginning with the Marvel Comic.

 

Since the first movie, though I did watch some RID, Energon and Cybertron when I was a kid.

 

Since September, 1984 when they pre-empted "He-Man" to show some new 3-part mini-series

 

Since Machine Wars.

 

Since 1984...how many years has it been?

 

Day 1, pretty much. I was only like 2 1/2 at the time!
