How long does it take you to memorize the transformation process of a Transformer? For me it sorta depends.

Deluxe: maybe 1 hour (1-2 glances at the instructions)
Voyager: maybe 2 hours (2-4 glances at the instuctions)
Leaders: a little less than a day... or two (5+ glances at the instructions)

About 2 runs through the transformation. Usually without instructions.

About one go. Vehicle to robot makes it easier to memorize. Robot to vehicle that takes some concentration but usually 10 minutes. Leader sentinel I still need to memorize

With the instructions (which I always use) it usually takes me about 10 minutes at most. Some of the larger ROTF figures take a bit longer though...

    Instructions, what?

Seriously though, some of the older figures I've got down from memory, and some of the newer ones I just sort of figure out as I go by using common sense. I've never really timed myself for this, although I remember my *friend* and I racing back in the day to see which one of us could transform our power ranger shit the fastest. We'd usually end up being tied or otherwise being even, but he was a lot rougher with his shit than I was with mine, so I took that itself as a win. :)

... also my Mixmaster doesn't transform. He's happy where he is on my shelf, never to be touched with human hands except to be moved for cleaning purposes.

Intuitive figures does not require instructions.

The ones whose transformations are not intuitive (aka, poorly designed transformations) takes a few times with instructions.

One with-instruction transformation, with robot to vehicle or vehicle to robot.
Putting him back is some kind of instinct transformation.

I need the instructions once then only return to them just to be sure of what I'm doing.

About 8 goes with G1 Prime but he was an easy one. I am still trying to memorize Bay Mixmaster but I've only transformed him 20-30 times so I'm not worried, I will figure you out MM ;)

Almost immediately after I've done it the first time. With the exception of only a handful of Transformers, I've pretty much got them all memorized. ROTF Mixmaster is a real pain to Transform, though. And for some reason, I've never been able to transform Beast Wars Sonar very well. I know that's a random figure to have a problem with, but their something about his transformation that I could never get right.

    Most figures-2 hours
    Rotf Mixmaster-2 years
For me at least. Only yesterday did I realize that Mixy is missing his roof pieces :lol . I NEVER use instuctions though, not even on Mixmaster!

most figures are pretty easy, i usually don't use instructions, sometimes i transform them while driving home from the store (i know i shouldn't but i try to be relatively safe about it). the only one i struggle with now is Defender, i keep forgetting how to do his arms for helicopter mode.

ROTF Prime required a sit down with the instructions and i had it after that one session.

ROTF Mixmaster was weird because he was assembled incorrectly so i had to finagle with the cab parts to get it to look right, the drum bit was finicky, but still rather intuitive.

I've actually been able to figure out all of the DOTM Deluxes so far without instructions. Leaders and Voyager I'll glance over the instructions once...but usually once I've done the transformation once I've got it committed to memory. The most recent Transformer that gave me any kind of difficulty was MP Hot Rod, but once I figured out the ankles in alt mode it was just fine.

Once or twice through, save for ROTF Prime...that was close to 8 failed attempts. But ya, usually just once or twice both ways.

I always remember it on the first go, including ROTF leader prime.

First time through (without instructions) for the most part.
