Here Sam has this thing, looks like a pole or something. He hits Dylan with it and Dylan dies. But look here. If Sam is there, and Dylan is there, whatever Sam had had to be pretty long, right? How, though? If it was that long, wouldn't it hurt Sam? It would probably break his wrists, especially when he swings that thing back. So why didn't his hands break? I can only think of Dylan flying backwards after Sam hits him.
Sam was holding that pole ready to strike Dylan and he didn't seem to even notice it while he was taunting Sam.
at the title. A couple things, Bluebe6: 1.) Dylan went stumbling back into the control pillar after he was hit. So, between Sam swinging a four foot pole with his 2+ foot arms, and Dylan stumbling back a good 2 feet, the second image isn't so impossible. Yes, it could be an editing/staging flub as well, but the distance between Sam, Dylan and the pillar isn't that much when all things are considered. 2.) I believe this "thing" is an uprooted road sign. A metal pole with a hunk of concrete at the end, probably torn out of the ground/dislodged during the extensive battle. Pretty sure he noticed it. Who wouldn't? But the whole scene is playing out - both with Dylan's actions and his words - in a "I've already won, so nothing you can do now will stop me/this!" way. Dylan's won in his opinion. Sam limps up to him, carrying a makeshift weapon. Dylan, believing he's won, scoffs. "I just saved a whole other world. You think you're a hero? Huh?! You think you're a hero?!?!" In Dylan's mind, Sam doesn't have the guts to do anything about this. Why should Dylan worry about the limping, bruised teenager in front of him? Even if he is carrying a pole. It's like when "bad guys" don't seem to worry about cops pointing guns at them until it's too late and the trigger is pulled.
all these hahaha; that DOTM scene in the trailer when Sam and his parents are talking and his mom briefly mentions something along the lines of this title was the first thing that popped in my head
