for me since i was 8 but back in the 80s i was more into Superman and Marvel yet still am but it was Burton's movie that sold me into becoming the Bat fan am now as i still remembered the teaser to it on Scrooged which was cool then when it finally came out when i turned 8 i saw it 6 times and loved it. I had nearly all the merchandise from cards, coloring book, novel, comic adaptation, movie magazine, 2 CD soundtracks (Prince and Elfman) which i still own, t-shirts, action figures and vehicles, Taco Bell cups and all that sort of thing. I ate the cereal which i loved, read/bought the comics since June 89's issue and watched reruns of the 60's show as i would tape every episode. I even got the NES game and movie on video for christmas that year in Batman wrapping.

I did saw Batman Returns 5 times in theaters when i was 11 and i had the same merchandise like 1989 too including Mcdonalds cups to beach towels, i even ate the cereal and watched the animated show religiously taping every episode since the pilot episode "On Leather Wings" when it came out prime time on August that year and had the film with NES/SNES game for christmas that year as well.

I also remembered picking up "Killing Joke" at one of my city's comic stores when i was 12 as it was my first mature readers graphic novel and same for Watchmen as i collected some back issues of Batman including Batman Adventures and some graphic novels like Year One.

Longer than Transformers. In other words, since I first saw a man dressed like a bat as a baby.

I've been a fan of him since 2005, when I first saw Batman Begins at a friend's house. Since then, I have read the comics, like the classic storyline Knightfall, watched all of the previous Batman films and the more recent ones, even the terrible Batman Forever, seen him in the cartoons, like the awesome Batman: TAS, and played as him in multiple video-games, like Batman: Arkham Asylum and the phenomenal Batman: Arkham City.

So yeah, basically I am a Batman fanboy.

Since before I can remember, but it must have been around the time the animated series started airing.

I've been a Batman fan since the animated series. I got back into Batman on a regular basis when DC launched its new 52. I think I'm reading every Batman focused title ...

As long as I can remember. My mom was a big Batman fan so the character has always been a part of my life as I recall.

Just about my whole life. Batman the Animated Series was my Saturday morning growing up and I've never stopped loving Gotham City. So, let's call it 1995- now.

I'd say about 2006 when I saw Batman Begins and started watching Batman TAS on DVD.

Mines a funny story. I was buying Lego games like crazy, and that got me into Batman. What turned into a game experience turned me into a lifelong fan.

I know a lot about Batman now, after that.

Almost the same. Watched Adam West reruns in the 80's & saw the Superfriends shows with him in it. I did collect Batman comics for a few years but stopped long time ago. Now I do see the movies & direct to DVD movies but nothing more.

    My entire life.

My first Batman toy was from the Kenner Super Powers line. I was hooked as soon as I squeezed his legs and he beat the crap out of all my other toys.

    ^ :lol

As a kid in the 80s there was superfriends, rerun of the 60s tv show n the ocasional comic (i was more into spidey n supes than bats) but in my teens the burton movie n TDKR really did it for me, the latter especially blew me away. Collected bats comic for a time til popularity shifted back to marvel During late teens (x-men, punisher, spidey)
