Ah. Well, he's not online right now. Plus, I wanted customer reactions and responses. Those are the best way to gauge a situation.
I find their shipping to be pretty spot on. They update your order constantly and provide you with tracking information. I have been very pleased with my experiences with them. I only wish they wouldn't charge for pre-orders before they come in, but as a small operation I totally understand.
It's true. If I have to spend four hours hogtying your toy, I might pass out before I get the label made that night... That said, feel free to contact me any time to find out when your order is expected to ship. The general shipping schedule is 2-3 times a week in order to keep the wait to a minimum. This usually means something like Tuesdays and Thursdays are the evenings I do shipping. I may put in more nights on it if there are a particularly large number of orders that need to go out. Generally speaking, if I have your order by late Monday night and am shipping Tuesday, it will be updated and the invoice printed to be pulled and shipped the next evening after work. If I have it by Wednesday night, it will go out Thursday evening, and so on. This, of course, assumes your entire order is actually for in-stock items. Pre-orders are pulled when they come in and sorted, and queued up to go out as quickly as possible while still getting the normal incoming orders out as well. If a partial order comes in stock, the items are tagged and set aside in an area totally separate from the normal stock storage space to await the rest of the order. The other consideration is that this all has to happen in the evenings, after work, and I still have to accomodate the realities of life, such as errands, dental work, sleep, those sorts of things. So there are occassional weeks where I have to shuffle the normal plan around a little to get those things done. There may also be a short backup if I have a huge number of pre-orders for one product that just came into stock, but those are the situations where I will spend four or five nights in a row ramming as many packages as I can each day out the door.
