So, here's a random one. Just wondering how long you people sleep every day.
um... Usually I'm unable to sleep for longer than 6 hours. I hate sleeping. Except naps. Those are cool.
Depends. Usually between 8-10 hours. Sometimes 11.
Recently, I've been going from about 3 AM-8 AM, so that's 5 hours.
Varies. I work night shifts and therefore usually sleep during daytime. In the summer I sleep a lot less; maybe 4-6 hours. During winter, I can sleep 8-10 hours.
I love to lay in bed and watch TV until 10:00 or 11:00,even though I should be sleeping because I have to get up for work at 4:00.
3-4 a day. i can't sleep.
I can only sleep when it's medicated, otherwise I can't stop myself from thinking about things. Then when I finally start to drift off, I get so excited that I wake right back up.
I voted 9+, that's not what I sleep everyday, but that's what I sleep if I can. In holidays or at the weekend I sleep mostly 10 to 12 hours. But when I have to work I sleep only 5 to 6 hours and I'm totally tired the whole day and never feel really awake. But when I sleep longer, my sparetime is too short and without sparetime I get insane.
My record once was 30 hours after being several days awake.

When you have insomnia you're never really asleep ... and you're never really awake.
I work a weird shift. Between first and second. I start work at 10 a.m. So I go to bed around midnight, and get up between 8:00 and 8:30. So between 8 and 9 hours.
I try to get at least 7-8 hours a night, but I love to stay up late and sleep in when I don't have a major commitment like work the next day.
Speaking of which, I really need to get to sleep because at first, I thought your post started with "I took a weird shit between 1st & 2nd" & I was like wtf would he say that?
I get about 6.5 hours of sleep a night during the week and maybe 7.5 hours per night on the weekends.
About eight hours on average. Usually if I tire myself out before I go to bed I'll sleep for ten.
Now my sleep pattern is getting screwed up though. I can't fall asleep until like 4:00 AM and then I end up waking up at 1:00 PM. I've tried almost everything. I think I may need a new mattress probably.

It depends. In the summer and on the weekends, I usually get between 8-11 hours of sleep (it can really vary, depending on how late I stay up and how early I get up; I'm working on getting to bed later and getting up earlier). On school days, I usually get between 6-7 hours of sleep.
6 to 8 is what I gun for by I usually get 0 to 12. This year 3 days in a row without sleep was my limit (doing work ). I do get insomnia now and then but not as bad as it used to be (I hate it). Now if I am up for a day or two it's by choice of wanting to meet deadlines.
