How long after you got home (or after you bought and opened it in your car) did it take before you felt you had to change/modify/fix a part of the new movie toys.

Also, How long did it take you to break a part off one of your new toys.

For me: it was about an hour after I was home. (unloaded car, had to pay some attention to the dogs, checked e-mail) I was opening the four I had purchased, in between doing all these things. It was Wreckage, Brawl, Fab Ratchet and V Blackout. Wreckage was the last to be opened and after TFing him, I decided that I didn't like the angle his head was sitting at. So I fixed it.
Then I proceed to TF Blackout back into alt mode. The cockpit wouldn't stay lined up with the side pieces and the more I tried to fix it the worse it got. I finally got the gears lined up correctly but I had to move the parts in the opposite direction that it looked like I need to. I now have stress marks on the two larger tabs that line up the sides of the copter to the cockpit. and they weren't there when I started.

    Hour for modifications
Hour and a half for breakage. How about the rest of ya?

let's see, within the first day of me getting Leader Prime, BB and Jazz I...

Swapped Prime's upper arms, Took out Jazz's pinchers, Tried to make BB's feel look smaller, but failed because the automorph gears prevents the leg going back further as I have envisioned. ah well, I got another set of BB and Jazz coming my way from HTS.

I modded Swindle's head about 10 minutes after I opened him up.

    Ebay:
Ironhide - added silver details to exhaust and elsewhere as in the real life version.
Frenzy - Silver sharpie all over
Bumblebee - silver sharpie on parts the needed it, aka face, arms. Give him a worn down look.

man blackout was making me use really bad profanity. i just decided to let him stay in robot mode rather than break the shit outta him, which I still want to do. bad design. but thats the only complaint i have so far, oh yeah, he shouldve been bigger. thats it, i'm toast.

I took Blackout to pieces to sort out his dodgy automorph the day I got him.
(fortunately he hasn't screwed up again since, and it's been a few months now)

I took a razor and a hammer to deluxe Brawl soon after I opened him.

I also did the Swindle head mod.

Completely changed the way Jazz's arms transformed to give him G1 wings and some proper hands the day after.

Got Wreckage this morning, and now I've got the paint out. This guy is Dinobot.

Pull off his head first, then cut a notch in the red plastic right in front of his neck post. This allows the neck post to swivel forward thus making the head more mobile.

Within minutes of opening, I began trying to figure out how to turn 'off' Spyshot 6. I don't like the screens of the Real Gears with stuffs on them... Generic Transformers or nothing... Nothing out dated allowed on my movie figs!!!

For everyone wondering about the Swindle neck mod, here's a topic discussing it: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=135301

Anyways, there were a couple times when I thought I had damaged my Barricade...don't think I managed to though (thank Primus). That revert to alt mode can be a pain sometimes >_<

I opened up Leader Prime the day after I got him and ganked the springs in his elbows, shoulders, and knees, and superglued them up so that they're now nice, strong friction joints. God, I hate super-clicky ratchet joints. All that clicking drives me crazy.
