I have (or had) every e-hobby reissue at one point and I know Tiger Tracks didn't come in this box. There's no way this could be MISB.

Transplanted from another sideswipe repaint perhaps?

What is the display on the back normally?

The e-hobby boxes are generic, there's no character names on any of them. This is obviously the Tiger Tracks insert put into a Cybertron box. I just can't believe he's trying to pass it off as MISB.

I think it looks better then his original box that is white and yellow with no window. I would buy that but in the point of question , yes it cant me MISb because TT never came in the E-hobby box. He was a mail away even if remember correctly and not a E-hobby.

Tiger Tracks was an e-hobby exclusive, but he was a magazine giveaway and mailorder only. I had one for years, before I sold off my e-hobbys.

Honestly, I agree with you. I think it looks good in the Cybertron box and it's something I would have liked to do with mine (but I kept all of mine sealed). I just don't like misrepresentations, especially on ebay.

What's worse is the guy's other auctions are all e-hobby exclusives - it's obvious he's a collector. He should know better. I've already sent him a message.

I contacted the seller and showed him a website with the original packaging. He says he bought it sealed and he's not going to change the listing. I find it a bit difficult to believe considering he has tons of others for sale as well; I'm betting the guy isn't an amateur.

I only hope whomever buys it knows that it's impossible to be MISB.

Ah, so he didn't do his/her homework and now that he knows, he's continuing on with the deception. Nice!

I reported the auction, but it's probably not going to amount to anything.

I remember a while back, another e-bay seller selling the same product and insisting that it was an e-hobby Sunstreaker reissue, lol....

Does anyone mind telling me where in his auction does he say MISB? I dont see it. He even says that its transplanted into an ehobby box.

this is a mib tigertracks in a lambor box, the box has a small sticker in the back with the number of the reissue and the name, i bought one light this a few moths ago(the one the guy insisted to be sunstreaker). Nice display, but definetely not MISB, MIB maybe or MINT in e-hobby box should be better explained.

Another seller forced to make an accurate description. He even references the tfsource link I sent him that shows the original packaging.

Sad that it had to come to that, he should have changed it after being contacted the first time. Nonetheless, it's a closed case now.

Anybody check the final price on this? WTF is up with that?

I was actually watching this, thinking it might go cheaper than a MISB or MIB in the original box. I've actually thought it would be cool to transplant him to a generic E-hobby box for display with the various other E-hobby 'Sideswipes,' so why not just buy it that way if it costs $50 less or so. The last 4-5 Tigertracks in the right box went for anywhere between $100-150, maybe one a li'l over. Yet this one goes for $212.

I've watched this since day one and the bidder never changed; he bid when the auction had the MISB on it. I'm not sure how the seller could have changed the description. Usually that can't be done with an item already having bids.

I hope the buyer realizes he paid way too much for this and that its not a true MISB. Hopefully the seller was a decent enough guy to inform him.

I picked up on the "displayed in", so to me it says that he knows it is not intended to be MISB or what have you...so he displayed the piece in a box. My two cents!!
