I am considering purchasing the Korean version of Beast Wars Big Convoy. Is the figure worth the $35 price tag? Thanx!

If you love, like, or can tolerate "shell-formers" then he's great.

One of my favorite "Primes." Total shellformer but, very impressive. About as tall as a normal Voyager, twice as wide.

Yes, best version of "Optimus Primal" released. I've got the Korean version myself and the Nemesis repaint and luv them both. Transformation is a little tricky (mainly lining up fur panels; not as tricky as SWTF Vader Death Star though).

$35 is an awesome price for this mold. I have both Big Convoy & Nemesis Prime version, easily among the best Prime molds ever & THE BEST of the Beast Era Primes hands down... he's no Monkey Truck lol

You reminded me I still need the original colors of the mold. I have the Nemesis Prime version and love it...I think I'll probably get the Korean version as well. Thanks for jogging my memory!

Where's SydneyY? This is a topic tailor suited for him.

Big Convoy is a very interesting mold. He isn't my favorite beast-former, but ranks up there. Just the sheer size and weight make it more than a Voyager.

    Thanks mate!
I so need your BC though, my collection looks incomplete now :D

I think he's not bad as a shellformer since his beast bits are placed well. The mammoth leg parts on his hips are supposed to be verniers (sp?), which is a good enough excuse for me.

edit; I see the decision has been made already, hope you'll like him!

I say go for it! I have the korean version, and I love it. Got it for 35$ as well when they first showed up on ebay.

Just great proportions for a prime, and a ton of gimmicks. Lots of detail and poseability.
