Eh, IMO that'd be a major cop-out. I prefer a TF series that has the cajones to follow through on whatever it dares to set up.

They'll probably just bring Optimus back to base and Jack will use the Key to Vector Sigma to restore his memories; keeping it simple for a kid's show.

I don't care how he's getting his mind back, because I already have to ignore how he lost his mind. I don't think it makes sense for him losing his mind, only because of the matrix being depleted.

Sooo... If I already ignore that, I'm pretty sure he'll get his mind back in no time and it doesn't matter how, it might be interesting or not

TFP Arcee: Well I did try to give her a beatdown when I've heard about that comment of me being ugly!  Other then that I didn't. She's lucky that she didn't meet up witht he G1 Arcee's twin sister who's the IDW version which she's a LOT worse then me!!!

There's one thing bothering me about this whole memory loss deal. Why has Optimus lost memory all the way back to the "Megatronus" point? Whether you follow WFC, Exodus, or even the Prime's version itself (which is nearly identical to Exodus), Megatronus became Megatron significantly before Optimus got the Matrix. There was a significant amount of time where Optimus fought against Megatron without the matrix. So even if I accept the matrix took Optimus' memory with it (since I suppose Optimus Prime doesn't actually exist without his matrix), then I would say he should still be aware of the war.

(Back at the Nemisis a Vehicon comes into the room with SuperJazz in his arms while walking up to Optimus.)

Vehicon: Excuse me Commander Orion? This little human requested to give you a hug.

Optimus: Ummm...Why? I thought Megatronus told me that humans were evil. And how did she cget in here anyway?

Vehicon: She came in through the Space Bridge.She just wanted a quick hug from you then she goes back home.

Optimus: Okay...I guess one hug coudln't hurt. (Hugs SuperJazz.)

Maybe it took his memorys back intot he phase where Optimus was still getting to know Megatron's inner circle? Who knows.
