My expectation of DOTM -- 5/5.

I'd care less about what the critics will say/expect out of DOTM.

My expectation are fairly high, since I enjoyed the first two films.

I'm certain the haters aren't anxious to get off their band wagon and the bay-bashing will continue.

3/5 for both the TF fan in me and the movie-goer/critic. Neither a timeless movie nor a complete trainwreck, but good enough for me to say I enjoyed watching the film. It feels like the movie will be far better than ROTF, but I can imagine DOTM being just barely on-par with the first movie overall.

Although I'm sure Roger Ebert will find every single nitpicking element in that movie and rip it to shreds (like he always does). Kinda hard to believe that he's the same guy who thinks Nicholas Cage is one of the best actors of the last 20 years...

Critics will hate it, we will have mixed feelings and the general public will love or hate it.

It will make a lot of money, guaranteed.

It's the last movie. It's the finale to the live action films. I expect it to be great. Critics on the other hand, didn't like ROTF so their expectations aren't gonna be high.

    Cautiously optimistic.

I love TF1, and whilst ROTF has its moments (forest battle, Ravage/Reedman, Devastator) it suffers from some serious filmmaking wrong doings. Everyone so far, and more importantly, Bay, has said the right things. Bay seems genuinely sorry for the way ROTF turned out, and I do believe the critical failure of it went a long way to damage his ego. As DOTM is his last Transformers film I think he wants to go out on a high note.

Visually, though, I’m very excited for it, as it is no doubt going to be the best looking Transformers film out of the three.

5/5 for me, 3/5 for others. I liked Rango, but I admit it's NOT "kid's" movie. They won't understand a damn thing, but I LOVED it!

    4/5 & 2/5

    I'm gonna like it.
    Publics gonna love it.
    Critics will probably pan it.
Fanboys will like it when they see it, then promptly go home and trash it on the interwebz.

4/5 for me. i've learned to never expect too much out of everything.

4/5 for the rest of them. public awareness is relatively high in where i live. almost everybody i know (90% being the "general public") have known about the 3rd movie and are waiting for it. screw the critics, for God's sake.

Probably not, as I doubt robots can produce Dimethyltryptamine.
