Calling all car audio addicts, time to show off that crazy sound system you have! Post pics if possible and the people at TFW will be the judge of how good your system really is.

I don't have a car, but I'll just put a vid of Steve Mead's car- A Chevy Tahoe.

    Beat that.

How is your entry not your own car? What the fuck?

Anyways, I got over that kinda' stuff a while back, but for what it's worth stuff like the ones you posted seem pretty cream of the crop for people into that stuff.

Well, considering that I still have a functioning hatch & back seat, my setup's clearly not up to par with the assumed standard for car audio.

However, it gets me where I need to go, and that's usually to the point of distracting me enough to avoid swearing at other drivers. Thankyou, Eric Church.

I used to have a pretty good system when I had my Jeep Wrangler.

2 300 Watt subs in a custom box build for the Wrangler. They faced down and were about 4 inches from the floor. Made the base hit harder.

I think I spent about $1600 on the whole system including all the speakers, amp, and stereo itself.

I remember back when I started building the system, it quit working while I was on a road trip. I ended up re-wiring the whole thing in a Walmart parking lot. And since alot of the wiring went under the dash, about the passenger side floor board, I spent alot of that time upside down in the seat trying to work on the wiring :lol

For added security on the amp, I removed my driver seat, bolted the amp in, then replaced the seat on top of it. There was no easy way for someone to steal it ;)

I swapped out the OEM stereo 10 years ago and then the speakers 3 years ago in my truck. I'm happy with the pioneer system but I need to have dynamat and an amp installed but that might be next year's Christmas present.

It has 2 speakers, trebble, bass, fade, am/fm AND it can play cassettes dawg. This thing is beast! The other day I was listening to my man Vanilla Ice, got some glances from 2 fly hunnies, they were admiring my kick ass system and the pure bass sound of one of America's greatest DJs to ever walk this earth. I asked them for number but they got too shy and they couldn't stop giggling, so I had to back off lest they be intimidated by such an awesome beat. Ice Ice Baby can make any women more moist than a Duncan Hines cake, believe dat.

Mine is bad. If you sit in the back you can hear the sound crackle and come in and out. I think it's just the right speaker, still annoying though. The rest of the speakers work fine. And they're the ones that came with the car. My radio is old, the cover has been rained on and it barely plays any CD's. I need a new one soon.

I was joking bout everything except the 2 speakers, am/fm, trebble and bass etc etc. My truck is nothing special and I've never had the money for a high end stereo system, maybe one day when I'm driving a better vehicle I'll put a kick ass system into it, but not while I'm driving my current vehicle it'd just be a waste.

    Not serious at ALL.

My "main" car is a 2011 Mustang. I literally swapped the deck and the stock speakers out, and that was it. Car stereos just aren't my thing. I'm more of a home audio nut.

    Boston Acoustics Yo! ?

Maybe before they got bought out and made in China, not so much now.

Glad I got my older stuff finished before it went to China

My last car was a 2003 Suzuki Aero wagon that i replaced the factory setup with:
    JVC Head unit w/ 6 disc CD-Changer
    Sony Xplod speakers
    1 10" subwoofer.

not a whole lot, but i didn't want THX in my car.
