I gotta say, the Transformers font has become very famous.
It first came to strong attention when it was first used in G1 (Wasn't that 1970 or something?) (don't be pissed that I don't know), and then kinda died out.
When it was first really brought back in 2007, so many movies, TV shows, advertisements have been using it.
I just find that kinda cool ;)

Wasn't that a pre-existing font though? I'm sure I'd seen it before the Spider-Man movies came around.
As for the Transformers font, I remember it being used quite a lot by other things back in the G1 days. That triangle style 'A' really got around. To be honest though, apart from the 'A' and maybe a couple of pointy tails it's not really that different from standard letters.
