    I am really looking into getting the up and coming Revoltech Prime but I am unsure how well built these things are. Can anyone here give me the run down on these and how well built they are?

    That is good to know, as I am getting my first 2 Rev figures (Mazinkaiser ? and Magnus).

    I have bought a MAX35 and found the PVC is really soft, I can leave a nail mark on it if I'm careless. Is Revoltech like that?

    its soft but not as soft as mega scfs. not really action figure hardy, but not far from micromen fragile.

    Thank you, KA!

    To tell you the truth I love soft PVC, however wrong it sounds.

    Dude...that sounds so..wrong...heheh! I'm tempted to get the Mazinkaiser too but I remembered that I got the Aoshima version somewhere in my house so I'm holding out on him...for the moment.

    I've got the Patlabor and Dougram and they're both pretty good, but I don't like how the Ingram's shoulders are designed. Can't wait till BBTS ships my Mazinkaiser though :D

    They're also made to pop off at the joints if too much pressure is applied so nothing actually breaks. Feels like the same plastic Evangelions are made of

    Like muffin said if you apply too much force the joints will come out rather than break, and they're easy to put back again. The figures are about hand-sized so they do feel a little fragile just because they're small but I'm always fiddling with my Ingram and nothings fallen off or come loose or anything.

    I have 4 Eva's, King Gainer and Dante, they are well worth the money you pay for them just for how poseable they are. Dante is actually pretty britle, he isn't the soft PVC like the rest, be careful with him if you pick him up.

    Local shop here in Sydney, NS. I think the only place you will find Dante now is Ebay, however we have 2 Eva's at this local shop, Yellow for 15Cnd and Blue for 30Cnd.

    I think there's an Aussie online anime shop called Tamarket who has Rev Evangelions in stock. I have never shopped there so I don't know if it's a good place, though. Not sure about Dante...get it from ehobby? About AU$20 +shipping, I reckon.

    The Revoltechs are great, I've got no problems with any of them. They can strike and hold virtually any pose really well (my Dougram Soltic RF has his rifle trained on me as I type this!). Many of them come with bases to simulate flight or jumping poses, and they all come with lots of extras like alternate hands and weapons. They're wholeheartedly recommended.

    Wanna know what sucks?

    My local comic shops get every Revoltech, EVERY ONE, EXCEPT for the Getters (the ones I actually want). ;_;

    Yes I'm probably just missing them when they get unpacked from the cases, but still.
