When people buy things from someone(using paypal), do the seller just send buyer an invoice through paypal just like ebay? How can people making sure not getting ripped off?(Paypal only have buyer protection on ebay)

I'm even more puzzled about trading items, how does that work?

    Thanks

paypal does have some protection built in, so i think pretty much that is a must for most initial transactions. after that check out user feedback to make sure the person is reputable.

as for trading, it's all about comminucation and making sure that both parties are happy with the transaction.

and delivery confirmation when you send out items.

Pay directly from your credit card, not from the account balance or a linked bank account.

Trading is all a matter of trust. That and using the feedback system. I have completed several trades here with no problems. One thing I that I do is if the person has no feedback I ask if they are willing to ship first. No one yet has had a problem with this.

It's also a matter of good comunication. I've done more than a dozen transactions here with members that had lots of feedback and some that didn't have any at all. And they all went smoothly. It's all about coming to a reasonable understanding.

    I never do. I provide/demand a tracking number though.
