Transform Motor Master into the platform and attach it to one of Trypticon's wings. And by wings I mean length of building, not wings of a bird.

TFRacetrack had the instructions but the site's down.

Someone else attaches to the other wing of the base. Can't remember who.

    Onslaught, naturally.

Trypticon's combinations with the base forms of those two look kinda crappy. It's Metroplex's ability to use all for Scramble City bodies (Silverbolt, Hot Spot, those two) that's really neat.

The bases attach using bits from Trypticon that, if I remember this correctly, don't serve any other purpose.

    Naturally. :p
Not entirely sure since I don't have a Trypticon to try it out on.

TFRacetrack would've been your best bet but as of right now the site is down.

I've seen pictures of him connected to Metroplex... ala Scramble City...
    http://www.cobraislandtoys.com/tf/1986/scramblecity1.jpg

But my big question upon seeing this was "Why does a Decepticon connect to an Autobot"

Guess I'd need to see the entire Scramble City episode w/ dialog on.

The combination was probably designed before factions were taken into consideration, most likely, or Takara was gonna stick to the mantra that "good guys sell best" and make all of them Autobots. Something like that.

You need two little connectors to hook them up, I'll try and dig mine up for pics later on.

That is correct. You need the two L shape grey pieces that came with Trypticon. You connect Motormaster and Onslaught both in their respective base modes and you have super mode. Metroplex can combine with the Superion jets to make a "super" mode. Scramble City had a lot of neat little modes.

I took this pick when I just had the 2 bases. (Don't mind the mess behind Metroplex.)
