The ROTF Human Alliance were the gems of the line for me, they got me to replace most of the deluxe versions in favor of the larger ones. And now that DOTM Ironhide is getting out there, I'm considering an upgrade for him as well, but I'd love to see some comparison/display photos and grab some opinions. Some battle scenes with Barricade or HFTD Leader Starscream would also be helpful.

I'll always keep the voyager cause I got him after Botcon 2007, toy hunting with FreshDebesh on the drive back to NYC. GREAT road trip souvenir!

    Thanks! :D

I'm curious about this too. DOTM leader Ironhide is pretty high on my want list right now, and his "compatibility" with the rest of my alternators/bt's/HA figures is key in my decision. Hopefully you get some good replies on this.

I don't have Leader Ironhide (yet), but from what I know of its size, it fits in nearly perfectly, if not completely perfectly, with the HA figures, in both robot and vehicle mode. That's definitely how he's getting displayed anyway, since he's one of my favorite characters.

I'd actually say the HA figures are slightly too big. The scene in DotM in the NEST hangar shows Prime to be almost twice the height of Bumblebee, and leader Ironhide is about the same size as Prime.

i rewatched TFTM yesterday, and when you look at the ending scene with Ironhide and Prime, from that movie, Prime is at least 2 heads taller. Granted, Ironhide seems to always not be standing straight.

I think they scale pretty well. This image was posted by len_d69 in the review thread:

EDIT: As Anguirus points out, this is some kind of "oversized Prime" (which one? dunno). So he looks much taller here.

Also: millerman's pic below is the one I was looking for actually. The whole family together.

I think something has been done to Ironhide's and Jazz's legs in that pic because they are actually taller than that.

No, it's some kind of oversized Prime, according to the photographer in the thread where this first came up.
