I usually try not to use instructions and when I watch video reviews I skip past the transformation. I like to figure it out myself, more fun and more awarding.

I don't use instructions unless I feel like I'm going to break something or something really seems off/wrong. Or if it is a really expensive figure.

I usually watch video reviews of a toy long before I buy them (or see them on the pegs for that matter). But for the most part, I remember the transformation process or at least the basics.

Instructions get thrown away. Usually don't even open them up unless they're in bags and have cards or comics in them. And then I just go to town and figure out the figure myself.
