Do you like your Transformers fiction done through animation, comics or videogames? I grew up on the G1 cartoon. Read the Marvel comics here and there. But now that I'm older, I feel comics are the best way to go because you can do longer arcs and give more screen time to characters. What do you prefer?

I'd say cartoons, but having read some of IDW's recent releases, I gotta go with comics.

Pretty much anything as long as it's good. But I'm a gamer so that's how I voted.

Where's the all of the above? It really depends on the story and characters, so I'm down for all three.

All of the above. I don't care about medium so much as quality.

Comics is the obvious winner, at least when it comes to the most recent media in the three categories (Prime, MTMTE/RID, WFC). In general, though, I do prefer comics because I really like to see drawn art telling a story. Especially when it's good like the current books are.

I would like to enjoy the animation, but less than half of the animated series have been appealing to me. Comics, however, are almost always tolerable, even when it's one author butchering another's story

Right now I prefer IDW comics. But I voted cartoon, because generally I prefer the shows. But the IDW comic (especially MTMTE) is much better than Transformers Prime to me, so I prefer the comic. But I voted what my general feeling about this is.

I thought comics would have more votes. Keep the thoughts coming

I grew up with the cartoons and the comics --and enjoy both -- but I think cartoons have consistently done a better job of bringing characters to life.

I like to put my own twist on fiction since I have a completely out of control imagination, but out of that list I have to go with comics. I'm not a gamer and hate most of the TF cartoons.

For three decades, my answer has been "cartoons". But I gotta tell ya, with IDW's MTMTE, I'm more eager for the next issue of a comic than the next episode of a cartoon for the first time ever.

    Cartoons, comics come in second.
