Personally speaking, I do not like the G1 Starcream, of which color and material appearence drove me mad. Except this figure, I think others are pretty close to the Animated G1, especially Optimus Prime. How do you think of the Transformer Encore series of G1 figures?
I love the Encores for giving people another shot at toys like Trailbreaker, Sky Lynx, Metroplex, Omega Supreme and the cassettes. Those guys were either never reissued before or were reissued at Japanese events which made them hard to come by. No complaints with the ones I have, I know on some the plastics or quality were not as good, but by and large they are great and welcome rereleases.
Encore rules, I got rid of all my TRU reissues to be replaced by Encore, I still need a few to have em all, but I'm getting there.
while i didn't buy any encore. It was nice for other fans who liked it to buy the toys misb at decent prices.
