How do you get animated swoops head back on?

His head came off when I was transforming him, and now it doesn't go back on, I've almost stressed the neck to the point of snapping, but the head won't go back on the ball joint

Does either the socket or the ball seem deformed? Is there any extra plastic, glue or paint in the socket? That may be why it popped off?
When I was making my Beast machines, Silverbolt, from the animated swoop mold I removed the head many times. The only pain was the moving neck piece but it always went on.
I hope it works out for you

You have to put it back on at an angle, it's not going to fit very well as his head is prone to popping off.
