Im of the school that toys should be played with. So I never display things in a box. I take them out play with them then try to find somewhere to place them to display. But saying that the seasons packaging really hit a note with me. I'm actually tempted to pick up another to display it in the box. So i guess it's up to whatever you think looks best in your set up. Alot of nice packages can look great together.

I toss the boxes. If I didn't. I wouldn't have room for them. Sucks living in an apartment

Open them, put the boxes in storage for moving purposes and then put the figures on the appropriate shelf.

I don't really have any special editions. If I did, and the toy itself was crappy, I'd put it back in its packaging and put it in the space between the top of my cupboard/shelf thingy and the ceiling. Stuff like boxes look really nice up there.

    I chuck the boxes, too.

Only boxes I keep are Botcon ones, and sometimes I keep figures in the box if I already have the mold like Galaxy Force Soundblaster or Dark Nitro Convoy.

Depends on what you consider special edition. I have the Hasbro MP Prime, Starscream and Skywarp - I keep their boxes in a cupboard. My Takara MP boxes, however, are actually on display (the toys aren't in them, though - what would be the point of having them if you never saw them?).

Some items with nice display packaging (TFU minicon 12 set) I keep the box in the cupbord, but the actual items are removed to go on display).
