So wherever you buy your Transformers, they are roughly the same price wherever you go. But what do you call each class? Do you say you're going to buy a Voyager figure, or do you say you're going to buy one of the $20.00 figures? I myself usually categorize them by price, ex: "I'm going to pick up one of the $10.00 figures", and if someone doesn't understand, I say "I'm going to get a deluxe figure". I'm sure there are more names for all of these classes of figures, so what all do you guys call them?

I don't buy a random figure by class or price. I go looking for a particular toy. I have found that going out to buy a $amount/class toy with no direction leads to purchases I later regret. Therefore I go out looking for a certain toy and if it is not there I don't spend the money.

    Class followed by name.

That said, 99% of my purchases are deliberate. It's quite seldom that I impulse purchase a figure.

Class. It's a lot easier to differentiate between multiples of the same character.

For me it depends on the mold or the look of the figure, but I usually bought voyager and leaders.

I categorize by either money wasted, or money well spent, regardless of the price

Class and name, but usually my desire to have the figure is the deciding factor.

Size class, but I generally have an idea of who I want before I go shopping, and usually end up with something completely different. My last haul went into a store looking for Darkmount, they didn't have him. Came out with Seaspray, Hailstorm,Stealth Force Prime and another Ejector.

I usually call them by class, but sometimes I say the price. The latter is an old habit from the Cybertron days.

Typically y class but most of the people I talk to about the different sizes don't know the categories. So in that instance I saw something like "The Voyager [insert name here]...the $20 one in the box"

I tend to use size classes when thinking to myself. I go in a store with some sort of want list in my head, look over the stuff, mumble to myself a bit, and finally decide to either purchase something if they have it, or just walk out if they don't. Unfortunately for my wallet, they usually have something on my list.

I usually just go by price amount, probably so my girlfriend isn't weirded out..

    *overexaggerated nerd voice*
Me: "I'm going to purchase a leader class or possibly voyager class figure today"...
    Girlfriend:

lolololol.. so yeah, I usually just say I'm going to spend 10/20 bucks
