They're Awesome! They're more cartoon-accurate (blue eyes, Slag has a red face). Plus Grimlock's head slides forward so it doesn;t sit way back on its shoulders like the G1 toy's does. And though we've only seen protos of the upcoming Sludge release, it looks like it'll have head articulation. The only major downsides are Slag and Snarl's robot fists remove for transformation (instead of sliding into the arms) and some Grimlock's tail tip halves have been reported as being loose (mine included unfortunately). But IMO they don't hinder the overall toy TOO much.

    Buy em, NOW!!!! :D

Better than the originals. You can fix Grim's lose tail with a screwdriver.

Sludge does not have removable fists either, which is good.

Measure up? At about 2-3 inches...

Oh, and they're pretty cool. A little iffy on QC with joint flop and such at times, but you take what you can get.

It's funny. My Grimlock's tail tips are solidly stuck together. I tried prying them apart with a screwdrive and then got worried when it looked like some stressing on the plastic.

Splitting grimlock's tail the first time IS a harrowing experience. Everyone copy I've owned of the fig (I have four) has had this... once you get them apart the first time there's no more problem, but that first time is a bit of a nail biter, it's true.

WST = World's Smallest Transformers, Graves.

I think that these are OK figures, but they aren't as good as the real WST figures are - and as far as measuring up to the originals, they don't. At all.

The Grimlock-based mold is quite good, and improves upon the original a bit with the joint to move the robot head forward on the shoulders. They are good quality, and it's nice that they use cartoon-esque paint jobs. I'm not a fan of the tiny separated hand parts on the Slag and Snarl WSTs though.

As novelty collector figures, they are amazing. I just bought Grimlock, Slag & Snarl a couple of weeks ago and was pretty astonished at the quality of them. The colors are spot on to the cartoon, and they all look fantastic when displayed. So nice & shiny.

Grimlock's loose tail pieces in bot mode are annoying and the removable fists for Slag & Snarl are a bit of a pain, but those minor gripes are far from being deal breakers.

One thing I will say is that pictures of these figures don't do them justice. You really need to see & hold them in person to truly appreciate the detail & quality.

My G2 Slag's legs are loose. Other than that and the fact that you have to remove Slag and Snarl's fists, I highly recommend these!

They're absolutely superb. However do yourself a favour and get the Reprolabels for them; they are much higher quality than the stickers that come with them.
