    Hey, Radicons.

I'm looking to get into real kitbashing one day, and an idea I had requires me to use TFA Oil Slick's upper arms with Lockdown's forearms. Note that on both of these figures, their elbows have this odd metal disc-like thing keeping the forearm attached to the upper arm. Is there a way to remove this without damaging the arm?

Unfortunately I cannot provide photos, but if you have either of these figures you should know what I'm talking about.

I would think that what you're talking about are capped pins. I hear that heating them up them pulling them out can work, but i've never tried it myself.

yeah. Use a soldering iron right on the disc, which will make the plastic around it soft. Once its soft enough, you can pull the parts apart. I recommend not using your bare hand to pull the pin out from there though. Use pliers or something.
