i dont know if this is the spot for "fixes" or not but here i go.

i just got the "target exclusive" The Fallen (orange and black) from zellers and i take it out to transform it and the left hip ratchet joint (if thats what its called) is super loose and i have no idea on how to tighten it. it has a silver flat pin or screw that holds it in and i dont know what to do with it, i cant get anything underneath it, i dont think i can hammer it in and its way too flat to even try to screw in.

    can anyone please help me?

Oh and i cant take it back/exchange it cause A. the store is closing and B. there are none left.

    thank you.

I would take some tacky glue and fill in the joint.
You can get Tacky glue at just about any craft store and it only adheres paper. I've found it can tighten Joints up better than anything.

and that will fill in the gap between the plastic and the pin and make the ratcher joint tight and normal?

Just as long as you don't move the joint around too much, it should do the trick.
Just remember, Tacky glue. not Super Glue, Not Model Glue, Not School Glue
    TACKY glue

When tacky glue dries while on plastic, it doesn't actually bond like Super Glue or Model Glue would, just forms a somewhat sticky layer. Unlike School glue (which also doesn't bond Plastic) it doesn't Solidify and potentially lock up the joint. That being said, moving the joint around after the glue dries will eventually work the glue out, hence why I said not to move it around too much.

ok so it will solidify into a rubber like consistency, is there any specific type of tacky glue that works best?

The stuff in the gold bottle works best. I forget the name of the brand, but it has better viscosity than the Elmer's stuff (White bottle with Sticker label)

You could just return it... then buy a new one and not worry about it?

Don't you have another Zellers around your area? Those things have been shelfwarming since he day it came out. I see at least two or three per Zellers.
