I'm re-painting 2 Legend Arcees, I started with purple Elita-1, I finished it, but I put it together and it's hard to transformers. Most of the joints are stuck, the paint was sticky, even when I took it apart again I couldn't remove the head because of the stickiness. How do you do it?

Disassemble things as much as possible - I use clothes pegs to hold parts but weak ones so they don't damage anything. and only on a flat edge (they'd fracture a curve).

I've not actually repainted entire Transformers very much more changes to accents and details - but I have done complete repaints on Gi Joe vehicles - with those they are not to hard (especially the older ones) you just treat them like you are making a model kit.
