I was wondering how they do all that running around without stepping on someone? Decepticons don't care: "In the way? Too bad!" *squish* But Autobots...has there ever been a cassaulty? An accident? An "Oops" moment? ... ...A YouTube explanation?
Try and find the Robotchiken sketch about prostate cancer. Where Optimus gets prostate cancer. When they are in the locker room showering. Prime comes in and says "Good work team we defeated the Decepticons with only 50 humans killed in the crossfire, A NEW RECORD!" But your asking a similar question like how does Hulk rampage through a major city and never kill anyone? Or how does Superman have a throw down with Metallo or Brainiac in the middle of Metropolis and not kill hundreds of people? The simple answer to all three is, if it really happened they would kill many bystanders. Now I can't direct you to a comic story that paints a realistic picture of what a giant robot throw down owuld do to bystanders. But for a realistic Superman-esque brawl in a major city. Miracleman from the late 80's. Writtne by Alan Moore. I don't own it personally but I've seen panels from the battle. Miracleman and his grown-up (and insane) kid side kick are fighting in London. And they wreck the place, and any one around. Thousands mained, hundreds killed. There is a panel where severed hands and feet rain from the sky. For realistic Hulk rampage look to The Ultimates 1 where Hulk tears up Manhattan looking for Betty Ross. Mark Millar said that to him a Hulk rampage through New York would be a disaster on the scale of 9/11, and wrote it as such. The Hulk kills thousands just through destruction. And that leaves asides Ultimate Hulks penchant for raping and eating people.
When 'bots and 'cons fought in the city, I always surmised a lot of people were killed but nobody cared. What I mean is, how do they run around the base without accidentally stepping on Mr. Chip or Spike? (Then scene is two Autobots running down the hall.... Ops: "Where were the Decepticons sighted?" Bumblebee: "Not sure, sir. In Chicago stealing--" *thud* "Oops." Cliffjumper: "OMG! You killed Spike! You bas-----d!" Ops: "..." Bumblebee: "..." Cliffjumper: "...Want some nachos?" )
How do Autobots avoid human casualties? Simple answer, they don't lol watch the robot chicken episode = Realistically? They probably try to draw fire away from larger concentrations of humans, which they kinda failed to do in the movie.
Well.... my brother's car has a camera over the rear license plate so he doesn't back into anything. Maybe the Autobots have cameras so they don't step on people Totally kidding. It was an amusing thought.
In the old marvel comics prime killed citizens to defeat megatron and killed himself over it (and that was just in a video game). Other than that... just look away.
