I see. Well, yeah, The Beatles are cool. No idea where the clones came from though, although I should, considering I grew up with G1

I don't think they were really clones, but transformers with same body-type. You see, when a protoform is created, there are some types of bodies that it can be. The "seeker" body-type is shared by the Seeker bots.

Edit: Oops sorry I didn't mean to post the same thing twice.

Starscream never had "clones" in G1, just in Animated. The other Seekers were their own Bots, and Starscream didn't have any hand in creating them or anything. He was just the team leader.

As for the Beatles chatter, I'm sure there's some discussion you can ring in on in General Discussion or the Video Games forums because of Beatles Rock Band.

They weren't clones, they were bots with similar bodies.

All the Seekers in G1 were of the same Protoform mold. Just like how Prowl and Bluestreak looked the same in G1. They're not clones.

In 'All hail Megatron' Skywarp explains that they chose their body design to pay homage to their leader (Starscream).

When you're building a big army you probably don't have the time or the luxury of designing too many individual body types. Starscream might've just came along with a flying form that worked for war and Megatron said 'That'll do for my air army'. Or Starscream was just one of the template type among many and happened to rise through the ranks of these Seeker-type air Transformers to become their boss. Not clones, just the same 'uniform' for the Decepticon air troops.

Really? :lol  I miss out on so much unintentional hilarity by not reading those comics. 'Cos Thundercracker and Skywarp always seemed to have so much respect for Starscream.

It kills me to think that these new TF fans are using TFA as their initial knowledge base, and compare other continuities (especially G1) to it. Ugh. I just threw up a little.
