    Maybe that's where Sam gets his arm broken to cover up the fact that Shia had a broken arm during filming?

    Yea i wasnt sure if that was Sam at all but i noticed that when i was at work watching the scenes over and over again lol. I noticed that it was def "a" human and he certainly looks like he got crushed by Optimus.

    The scene with Scalpel looks like Sam is at a dentist appointment from hell lol!

    Yeah, he's not squished, it's one of those "OMG THAT ALMOST HIT ME!" type things.

    Also, the only "official" source saying how Sam's hand was injured saiud it was during a "Space Bridge" accident, which also led some fans to believe he alos got cooked in the same accident. (from old set pics of him half burned to a crisp) All this talk of Scalpel doing it is just fan theories.

    It don't take a genius to piece together this part with the part before it of sam screaming optimus whilst clinging to a tree, clearly he gets kicked clear over sam and lands and thats why he screams his name

    Prime landed behind him, but as Sam continues to run he falls down into a ditch, and Prime ends up bouncing over him into the closeup shot. You can see this if you go frame by frame.
