Customs: How close is the new Takara Unicron to being perfect?

    There are still some touch-ups to be done, but they are relatively minor.

    - Paint the eyes green (or, if you've got patience, crack open the head and paint the actual LED bulb green).

    - Paint the clear right hand to match the rest.

    - Small yellow highlights here and there on the outer planet ring

    - Maybe a light black wash to bring out more of the detail


    Anything else? What I listed above is probably, what, a couple hours work at the most?

    I don't think the minor details your suggesting would make it "perfect", but I can see them making it certainly cooler.

    I'd really like to see a Unicron toy that has an alt mode that's a lot more spherical than the Armada mold ended up being. It's still certainly a cool toy, but the alt mode could use some work before I'd tag it "perfect".

    I will say that once you get one and do these suggestions, I'll be right there to say "that really tops that figure off" :wink:
