Thinking about it and looking at the poster....it suggests also that this beast isn't even on earth!? Space stations or whatever they are and Optimus and it are the main parts of it.....so could be something that Optimus encounters on his search for the creators
In before this turns out to be one of the mini-dinobots that the Decepticons apparently have... and it was just made massive for the sake of a cool poster
I really hope it turns out to be Predaking based on his TF Prime incarnation. And I hope he's not the only Predacon. I imagine he will be bigger than Grimlock and Scorn. Able to look physically imposing even compared to the Dinobots.
well a new CRAZY theory just came to my mind what if, this dragon is based on the structure of Cybertron? or say, the Cybertron planet transformed into this dragon. i mean, the stencil structure at the neck part really similar to the hexagon structure of Cybertron
I love the veiny thorn/stem things its made of. It's exactly the kind of surrealness I would imagine from an alien dragon. It reminds of the rusted, corroded mass the full Driller model had, the farther down it goes. It's almost scary in a way.
that does not sound unreasonable ... the knightship could also be a hand but I think bay said once he did not want to use unicron on the films ... I could be wrong throught
Unicorns have fingers!!!???? Can't handle any more of this Mandela effect crap!....this ain't my universe get me outta heeeerrrrre!!!!
Just followed you up on that there, I think you're on to something proper there. I can see it just being a powerful transforming entity perhaps the thing under the sea, but just on the basis that there is a megatron and a galvatron...which it still seems possible we may have in the movie...somehow...yes this could be it! But knowing bay it's called predaking instead of d-void or deceptigod Not that that's a gripe as it certainly isn't, I also personally wouldn't mind if the movies started introducing and creating all new big bads, not one offs but a whole catalogue of villains operating for their own ends at odds with each other, something never before considered and not linked to past lore. So even a completely new character would be cool too
I don't think the Hydra is Megatron or a Deceptigod, although I certainly understand fans thinking it's the latter. I suspect it's the Knightship transformed, especially since Bay said there could be several films that feature Lockdown's former prison ship in some manner. Either way, it's big.
this ... of all the things I already thought or read, this is what i think is more plausible ... he could even be the bayverse version of trypticon
Shockwave had driller as a pet, so it could be possible the Dragon was Megatrons pet on Cybertron. The dragon design has a slight resemblance to Megs cybertronian look. Then again I'm looking too much into this.
Rather than dead Decepticons, I'm thinking it could be made of random Transformers either human-created (continuing the plotline from Age Of Extinction') or potentially an armada of drones that were perhaps stuck under the ocean in whatever Cybertronian spaceship is stuck down there (Personally thinking something that will mirror 'Nemesis Rising' from Beast Wars). I've had a vibe that they are going for some sort of retcon involving a massive Decepticon warship underneath the ocean given pictures from filming - and i could easily see that housing a Deceptcon secret weapon in the form of an army of drones that could form into a single massive beast. Predaking could work as a nice name substitute for Deceptigod. Both imply a leadership role of some sort by using 'god' or 'king' in the title with the enemies name beforehand. Either way, tomorrow's trailer will hopefully give us a general hint as to the nature of these being. With all the filming that involves the submarine and water effects, I'm expecting that to be featured in the trailer.
