how big is this really?

    in terms of budget and advetising? the biggest? What would make a profit?

    I am guessing that the toys themselves will make this movie the highest grossing film ever!

    i'd think SW got everybody beat on boxoffice, dvd, merch profit.

    waaaaaaaaaay beat.

    you are right...but I also think that the fx for this film are going to be as good as what star wars was when it came out. Like LOTR...with robots!

    Doubt it, Lucas will keep milking the series, and people will buy it. When he's gone, somebody else will continue to milk it.

    then we can hope the same happens to the transformers franchise and eventually have a cross over movie :) 

    id like to see snow speeders take out Devastator

    i dont think it can be highest grossing film of all time since they spend a lot of money in marketing and advertising plus the cut of Michael Bay and Spielberg. Still the highest grossing film in my opinion is the Blair Witch Project. Production cost of less than $5000 and earning a whopping $100M +
