I was quite interested in submarines recently, so I re-wathed my ROTF DVDs at home. After Megatron was revived from occean floor, a U.S. submarine detected them (including a decepticon medic and 4-6 constructicons). The team members then accellerated and smashed into the submarine. The impact caused the Sub a whale-flip before its destruction.
Now I wonder how big that submarine is. A bigger Sub displaces 4500-ton. And a smaller one displaces 1500-ton.

The submarines most used by the american navy these days are the Ohio class (18,750 tonnes), the Virginia class (7900 tonnes), the Seawolf class (9100 tonnes) and the Los Angeles class (6927 tonnes). So you're looking at between 100-170m in length.

If so, that sub is a Los-Angeles Class, meaning its 110 m long and weighs 6100 tonnes.
