    Hello,

Mayby there is already a threat like this, when so it can by locked.
But I was fiddling with some of my olderer Masterpieces and saw some scratches en small damages followed after some years of fiddling and transformations.
I must say I'm very careful with my collection and I transform them sometimes.
So fortunatly most of them are still in one piece:) .
I was wondering how yours are doing after some time.
Let's start with my mp9 Rodimus Prime (version 1).
Owning him about 3 years or so and transformed him over 20 times:

Chrome is still good, unlike my mp28 Hot Rod:

    IMG_1142.JPG

As expected: some paintware on his spoiler as a follow up of sliding in and out of the trailer and one of the attachmentpins is coming loose (left side):

    IMG_1143.JPG

My biggest issue: one of these thin hooks shows like it will break soon::eek:
    IMG_1144.JPG

Overall I think he holds well even he's VERY fragile.
Even his side leg panels aren't broken.

Enough about mine: I'm really curious how yours are doing, not only mp9 but others too.o_O

The most used and old I currently own is MP03.

He is holding as good as it to be expected after so many years. No damage I have noticed.

Those who have taken the hit for the team seem to be my Lambors. Tigertrack is a bit loose now, and ClampDown had his issues outside the box so that one I guess doesnt count.

My Prowl and Sideswipe have started cracking at clear plastic joints. Prowl on the fender piece the rotates under the head and SS one of the side widows that fold into the back pack. My laserbeak also has a broken thruster, but the seems to be pretty common.

Well, my YOTH MP-10 Optimus is pretty good. I haven't noticed the gold flaking, and I don't see any scratches in the paint. My issue with him is that the axe is loose as all hell. The connection between the base and axe is really weak.

MP Prowl is...... well.... his arm snapped off from falling off my shelf. :(  Everything else is fine though!

MPM Prime is brand new, so no chips in paint, but one of the tabs on his sword broke off into the gun pegs.

I think I saw in Peaugh's mp Rodimus Prime review, that you can use an eraser and just rub off the paint marks on the yellow spoiler. (must be paint from the trailer that rubbed off onto the spoiler)

So far, so good. Just a loose right stabilizer on Sunstorm.

My older ones are mostly ok. I accidentally broke the tabs under the windshield on Wheeljack during a transformation, my Datsuns are getting a little loose in the elbows and knees, and Ironhide has a very loose right arm. For newer ones, Megatron has the usual paint scrapes and Sunstreaker has two huge cracks in the windshield and the rotation joint for the backpack is cracked but holding.

Mostly fine but there are injuries here and there.

20th Anniversary DVD Edition Optimus Prime: Bought second hand this summer, right gas tank bracket exploded on first transformation.
    Tracks: Shoulder pin crack
    Hasbro Rodimus: Left shoulder explosion
Hot Rodimus, Ratchet, Ironhide: Chrome wear
Sunstreaker: Backpack rotation crack on tenth transformation  , paint wear on knuckles
MP-9B: Broken knees MISB, windshield hinge break
Star Saber: Absolutely useless elbow ratchets.

Not too bad considering I have 82 Official figures, including Cassettes. Aside from the windshield break, both Rodimii were repaired with replacement parts, Star Saber with KFC upgrades. But 11% of the Official figures that I own have have issues, none from mishandling. That's not awful, but far from ideal.

Ah the old seekers, I still love that mold very much, on a lot of points more than the mp11 mold.
I have mp06 Skywarp, it was my first masterpiece and after more than 5 years it still stunning, and I've bought it second handed.
    IMG_1156.JPG

    But.....
Unfortunatly one of his wings is broken.
    IMG_1154.JPG

Luckely it's still functional, in plane mode no problem at all , in robot mode it holds on that little pin.
    IMG_1155.JPG

It's not strong but well, it holds at least.
But man, what a masterpiece, especialy the plane mold.
You can hardly see it is a transformer.

i am careful too, but ironhides's crome is all but gone, MP10 has stress marks by the rear wheel covers. otherwise pretty good. I collect diaclone mp molds pretty much to have parts when something goes.

I just display my MPs as soon as I take them out of the box. If I were to see them even slightly self deteriorating I would sell them all off in anger.

Sometimes I'm jalous on you guys who don't have the need to transform your masterpieces.
Than the chance of breaking is very small offcourse.
But I like transforming too much.
Except MP05 Megatron, Badcubes Wardog and X-Transbots Andras, terrible and frustrating.:banghead:
So they will survive the longest I think.;)
    Here another one:

I feel very lucky to own a mp07 Thundercracker.
Bought it secondhanded for 100 Euro's.
    Complete with box and instructions.
Only he forgot the rest of the labelsheet and he promised me to send it but never did.:(
Far as I know mp07 is rare and very expansive so I thought the price was resonable.
It's still in one piece fortunatly but it's a little loose.
The cockpit detaches very easy, it holds a little but not as it should be.
    IMG_1149.JPG

Also not everything lines up that good anymore.
It looks something is wringed where it shouldn't be.
    IMG_1148.JPG

These little issues were allready there when I bought it.
Also the nosecone was allready broken but is glueed very secure and cannot be opened anymore.
And then those decepticon labels: It looks like the former owner was drunk when he put them on.:sly:
    IMG_1145.JPG
But I don't have the courage to remove them, affraid to damage that beautyful paint.
Also one elbow was floppy but that was an easy fix with a screwdriver.:)

So nothing went wrong as long I have it and I'm trying to fix those issues as best I can.
I believe this guy deserves it.:thumb
