Myself, I might make the trek upstate PA to Scranton for what I've been told is the 4th Largest St. Pattys Day Parade. Its suppose to be one giant booze fest, a city wide block party. Mainly because Univ. of Scranton is right there. I'll be heading there with some buddies to meet up with some lady friends. I know some people on this board are from that area, I think Drew is anyway. So how are you boozing it up on the drunkenest of days?

Bah, St. Pat's is amateur night. It can take 45 minutes to get a cocktail and everywhere is packed. Plus, green beer FTL.

...I'll most likely go out anyway to see about the hotties.

I think we might rent a hotel room and booze heavily before the parade starts at 10.

I'll be sitting here angrily wondering why the hell this holiday is called St. Patrick's Day. I can't think of a more inappropriate or disrespectful way of celebrating the life of one of the men who helped to preserve learning during the middle ages.

Because saint patrick was a self proclaimed drunkard and sinner. Also this is just how the irish show their respect to a life well lived by raising a glass and celebrating, at least this is how we do it my family.

That's no way to prey on trashed sorority chicks. St. Patrick would disapprove.
