I was just thinking about the amount of money ive spent on animated, not just spent but the fact that ive brought figures and then sold them and re brought them again, crazy
    Heres the list in order

    the obsession begins
    1. Deluxe prowl - june 08 £9.99 (still have)
    2. Voyager bulkhead june 08 £19.99 (sold aug 08)
    3. Deluxe BB july 08 £9.99 (hated this fig, size too big, threw away next day)
    4. Deluxe cybertron prime £9.99 july 08 (sold in aug)
    5. Activators BB £4.99 july 08 (ended up painting him badley, then threw away)
    6. leader bulhead £39.99 aug 08 (chopped off his missiles, still have)
    7. Deluxe jazz £15.99 aug 08 (stil have)
    8. Deluxe ratchet £14.99 aug 08 (chopped his wings off, sold dec 08)
    9. Deluxe swoop £15.99 aug 08 (painted his mace black, sold oct 08)
10.Deluxe sentinal £15.99 aug 08 (painted sides of legs black, still have)
    11.Voyager prime £29.99 aug 08 (e-bay usa, sold aug 08)
12.Voyager prime £19.99 aug 08 (found in store day after i ordered him from e-bay, i couldnt wait 2weeks for him, sold dec 08)
    13.Voyager grimlock £29.99 aug 08 (sold oct 08)
14.Voyager starscream £19.99 aug 08 (didnt like, not a decepti lover, sold 2 days later)
15.Deluxe blackarachnia £7.99 sep 08 (didnt like sold, oct 08)
16.Deluxe lockdown £9.99 sep 08 (didnt like, sold oct 08)
17.Leader megatron £29.99 sep 08 (once again im not into decepticons, sold oct 08)
18.Deluxe snarl £9.99 sep 08 (painted clubb black, sold oct 08)
    19.Leader ultra magnus £49.99 oct 08 (sold dec 08)
    20.activators BB X3 £19.99 oct 08 (kept 1, sent other 2 off for a wasp commission)
21.Wasp commission £70 oct 08 tonyz customs (still have, and love)
22.wasp commission2 £30 oct 08 ramrider (never got figure back, ramrider has disapeared from tfw2005 boards)
23.Voyager shockwave £29.99 nov 08 (chopped legs to make longarm fit in with other autobots, sold dec 08)
    24. Deluxe ironhide nov 08 £29.99 catlindev (brill repaint of ratchet, great head mold, still have)
25.Deluxe blurr jan 09 £11.99 (chopped legs to make him fit in with other autobots, still have)
    26.Voyager jetfire/jetstorm jan 09 £24.99 (still have)
27.Voyager grimlock £19.99 feb 09 (yep brought another one, didnt realise how much i liked this fig, also needed some animated crack, still have)
28.Deluxe cybertron prime £9.99 feb 09 (yep i got another one, moment of madness, came to my senses 2 days later, sold feb 09)

I think thats all of them (for now) it just amazes me the way ive handled my purchasing of these figs, once apon a time money was no object and i would gladley pay over the odds for a new just released in usa figure, i just have to have them as soon as there avalible, Now money is very tight so i have to be really carefull, but at the mo there isnt any new releases going on,

It took my a couple of figs to realise that i dont want to collect animated decepticons, im just an autobot lover, ive also noticed with some figs that i only want them just to see what there like in person, once ive done that i tire of them quickly,
Once again im on the look out for another voyager prime (this will make 3 voyagers and 2 deluxes of the same fig) maybe its the apending cancellation that has me scurrying around getting all the other figs, who knows, also looking out for cliffjumper and waspinator.

I would hate to see how much ive spent on animated figures over the last 8 months, but the thing is if i could change my spending spree,
if only i could of brought the figs that i knew i was going to keep,
or if only i could of waited a couple of months more for these figs to be released in the u.k thus getting them alot cheaper
would i?? No WAY I LOVE MY ANIMATED CRACK

Yeah dude, I feel for you. I was working a quite lucrative job for about 3 months on a contract and i ended up buying ever deluxe, voyager and leader class animated figures...even the fugly cybertron megatrons and the only good for prime axe 2 pack. Now that I'm in the unemployed ranks I too need to cut back. well after MP grimlock that is.

I've kept every Animated figure I've bought. I can't bring myself to get rid of such quality figures.

My list (since it's a fun idea):

Deluxe Prime -$14 (kept him for a long time, then used his head for a custom and gave him a painted 2-pack Prime's head)
Lockdown - $14 (wrist modded, arm painted, but stays in vehicle mode)
Prowl -$14 (bought same day as those last two, though I swapped his thigh armour panels)
BB -$14 plus shipping (I love this figure, but I modded his stingers, painted all the black details and got a new AB logo)
Bulkhead -$29 (same condition I bought him in: awesome)
Starscream -$29 (bought with BH, removed pimp symbols, gave him giant D-con logos, I also painted the back of his head and mouth black)
Megatron -$29 (collects dust on my shelf. Only Animated figure I actually dislike)
Blackarachnia -$14 (almost sold to a friend before I opened her, glad I didn't)
    Ratchet -$14 (bought with BA)
Prime/Megatron DVD set -$24 (Prime was used to make a custom figure. Megatron had the BD removed)
    Act BB -$9
Act Bulkhead -$9 (bought with act BB)
Act Starscream -$9 (bought with the above two)
Lugnut -$29 + shipping (had to order him online. Still never seen one in stores)
    Leader Megatron -$59
    Snarl -$14
    Leader Bulkhead -$59
    Jazz -$14
    Soundwave -$14 (bought with Jazz)
Grimlock -$29 (was almost returned, but I grew to love him)
Blitzwing -$14 (waited to order him online only to see him in stores the very next day :headbang)
    Oilslick -$14
Swoop -$14 + shipping (Christmas present)
Sentinel Prime -$14 (bought and shipped with Swoop)
Ultra Magnus -$60 (bought online seperately for Christmas)
    Jetfire/Jetstorm -$29
Act Grimlock -$9 (bought out of boredom, needed Animated Crack, he's pretty cool, though)

Totalled up, minus shipping and taxes: $594.

    Jesus balls.

I still need Samurai Prowl, Blurr, Swindle, Shockwave, Skywarp and Waspinator.

EDIT: OH DAMN, I forgot to add Wreck Gar to my list.

I changed my mind, it's not such a fun idea.

    That's almost sig-worthy.

I don't want to know how much I've spent either. The Wal-Mart sale around Christmas did help a little though.

I just figure there's worse things I could be spending my money on. I'm lucky I never got into the smoking habit - at least with transformers there's a chance I can get some of that money back.

There's lot's of other things I'd like to be spending that kinda money on, but in the final analysis it really seems like I'm getting more bang for the buck with TFs.

I should probably cut back on repaints and occaisional doubles though. I don't really need that stuff. Once animated is done, I think it'll be a good time to start seriously cutting back.

    I'm running out of space!

Between the Wal-mart $7.77 rollback on deluxes, the McDonalds Animated $5 off coupon, the recent Meijers sale on Voyagers, and currently Targets $8 price cut on deluxes, I paradoxically bought more figures then I had ever anticipated and spent less then I think most people did, since all but about 3 figures were purchased with some amount off.

Plus I held off on a lot of figures to see what was coming down the road, so for example I never bought Deluxe regular Prowl and instead got Samurai Prowl, and the Target Stealth Lockdown is my only Lockdown figure (Though I'm torn on the idea of getting a non-clear version like Blazing Lockdown). Plus the Target multifigure packs even help too in getting that smaller scale cast (Voyager Bulkhead, Activator Prime and Ratchet, and Legends Bumblebee and Prowl).

That said, I still don't want to tally the damage from Animated. On the plus side, given how much I loathe the movie, after Animated leaves the shelves, I won't be spending much, if any, coin for months on Transformers. The downside is that knowing the Toyline will so suddenly vanish, I've gotten an urge to get the figures I had been holding off on soon, and I've even been flirting with the idea of being a near completionist with the series.

Yeah, walmart's 7.77 really helped to let me get the line and Universe too(wife liked the price drop) but with the raise up, gonna have to stretch my purchases a bit more out. I think the only deluxe I've missed is Blazing Lockdown and then the activators(except for the repaint seekers) and leader Bulkhead and repainted Leaders.
