So I was looking at the Histank and thought he looked cool as shockwave. Then I recall the Starscream from last year. Both would have been bought on site if they actually transformed.

I know that price would be a problem, obviously. But who wouldn't spend $200 on these crossovers if they actually did transform and look like their G1 selves. A MP Cross over.

I mean it may even work as a line. You don't have to do a lot of them, but you can do a bunch. You figure you would have the Joe guys and the TF guys all clamoring to get them.

So thoughts on this? Also, a cartoon cross over would be rediculously awesome, especially if it was G1 for both!

Why Hasbro pays other companies for the character rights (Star Wars, Marvel) instead of using their own properties for a crossover line is beyond me.

I recall Hasbro saying they won't do this because they don't want to dilute their own brands; the SDCC stuff is just something special outside the scope of normal shoppers.

I think it's stupid, because G.I Joe really needs a boost in sales and this could do it. I know I'd be on board.

It would be like Human Alliance except instead of dollar store figures it would be a Joe and the vehicles would be recognizable Transformers.

If they turn out like those Spiderman transformers I wouldn't care enough to buy.

How the F would Hasbro be diluting the line with a GI Joe/TFer crossover? Some one needs to ask them that. I cannot see this at all!

Plus it may get some guys to get more Joes and vice versa.

The problem with it is that GI-Joe, unlike Iron Man or Starwars isn't that popular with kids.

I think the rumor was the G.I.Joe staff are all for it, the Transformer staff are not.

That's why I said a MP crossover. They should be the same size as the GI Joe vehicles.

Not intended for kids, but intended for collectors.

    *Cough Micro-change Microman Cough*
Seriously, Takara thought of this idea before the fan community ever did. G1 Perceptor's Cannon mode (Since He hails from the Micro-change Microman line) can seat a 3 3/4" figure

For SDCC 2013 Hasbro should reissue and redeco the GI JOE USS FLAGG as Broadsides (fat chance I know)!

Yeah, I don't think many people even know who he is. I always say, yeah, he was the guy that transformed into an air craft carrier and fell on Devastator in the movie.

They then say, "what the f are you talking about?"

A USS Flagg Redeco would be prohibitively expensive. Do ya realize the Flagg is larger than Fort Max? The Flagg is as large as a table and is, in fact, the largest Toy Hasbro has ever manufactured (Might even be the largest toy ever made. Trust me, you wouldn't be able to just take that big SOB home.

Those HA Basics from DOTM are the closest we've ever come to a proper crossover, and they're pretty darn close. Not much of a stretch for those figs to be an AWE Striker, RAM/Silver Mirage, SNAKE armor, Fang copter, and Battle Bear, and the human figures, while small, are quite close to certain Joes and Cobras. Still...would love to see some bigger ones. Maybe with TF4? Didn't seem like the HA Basics sold all that well, though, so maybe the line is dead. Darn shame, too; those were absolutely awesome figures/sets.

You know if we ever got this, they would miss the mark entirely. Like...a derpy looking robot Cover Girl transforms into an unlicensed generic sports car.
