Well that's just great. The Wii is so popular that publishers are no longer content to port over PS2 games and call it a day. Now they have to port over f'ing DREAMCAST games. Heaven forbid somebody create some good original content for the thing.

Sick! I think someone in the RE UC thread mentioned wanting House of the Dead to come out. This systems needs crazy lightgun games.

What's wrong w/ DC games? Sure, the system was a little ahead of it's time and didn't perform as well @ retail as a lot of people would have hoped...but the DC still had a good library of games. I'm psyched to hear this news as all of my light gun games are now "defunct" after buying a new LCD TV for my game room yesterday. I love light gun games...love love love 'em. Now if only they'd bring over some of the great Saturn games from Japan that us Westerners never got to play...whether on the Wii or VC.

QFT, I'd rather see more of the DC A-list getting a coat of paint and another airing rather then another load of recent PS2 games.

Its not like its the entire package either, HOTD3 was on Chihiro/XBOX hardware.

I don't think he is dissing DC Games, I think it's more of the idea that a game that old is getting ported to the Wii insted of making newer games.

I also don't have a problem with wii ports or ports of DC games.

But I do vote that we call them 'Wiibounds' from now on.

Well. The Zapper was released today and outside of Link's Crossbow Training, the new RE game, and Ghost Squad they're gonna need a few more games than that.

Maybe they'll snag Time Crisis too.

Now if they can bring over Carn-Evil I'll be VERY happy!

As for recycled Dreamcast...I'd say bring on Tech Romancer but I'd hate to have them force Wii-mote motion into the game :(

Does no one remember a really awesome title called "Confidential Mission"...pretty sure that was a Sega game too D= Also I think Police 911, would work with the Wii too

I'd be up for Confidential Mission, althougth i'd rather see Virtua Cop 3 and Planet Harrier finally get home releases if Sega are doing some arcade necromancy.

I don't see Midway bringing Carnevil to the Wii. Its as crusty as the afforementioned Model 2 games, comes from hardware that isn't exactly port friendly and has next to no name recognition.

There's nothing wrong with DC games persay. I loved the DC; to this day it is the only console I ever felt actual affection for.

There is something wrong with shoveling 8 year old games onto a platform that is ostensibly supposed to be the innovative console this generation but is already choking under mounds of other ports of old stuff.

My complaint has nothing to do with the DC and everything to do with the way developers are wasting the Wii's potential.

    On that I concur

The system is innovative and all we seem to get is ports, its like developers are almost scared to try to work on this machine instead shoving over games. Personally I'm all for HoD 3 being brought over maybe put that with 4 and make the zapper what its suppose to be: a sub machine gun. HoD 2 though couldn't they try and make it on virtual console or something? I don't think it would take much to change the game to run with the zapper as its a gun game already. But I could be wrong so who knows.

No, the Wii has neither the clout to emulate a DC at a worthwile level or the storage to hold its games.

I'm excited for this. I passed up HotD 3 on Xbox (which also had HotD 2) and never got around to getting a light gun for my DC. Just wish Sega would confirm if HotD4 is still coming to 360 or not.

I loved Confidential Mission, nice change of pace from zapping zombies.

I wonder if Bandai Namco will follow suit and bring over any of the Time Crisis/Crisis Zone games?

Police 911 should DEFINITELY be wiibounded.

It's just the sort of thing the wii was made for.

Namco could release a compelation set of the first 3 Time Crisis Games, or Crisis Zone. I hated playing those games at the mall...not enough quarters lol
