Awesome looking Bot, maybe worth the Henki version too.

 

IMHO:

Rear spoilers, are they missing/broken in the middle because that looks odd. You guys were saying shoulder missile but I ain't seeing anything like that. Any help here??

I like this Hot Shot, but I still prefer the Cybertron version.

 

I'm actually not really feeling the blue on the yellow; kind of gives off a playschool type feel to it. I kinda like what Henkei did better, with the black instead of the blue.
That said though, I don't think I'll be paying Henkei prices for a Hotshot figure.

This is probably going to be a pass for me, unless I hit one of those plastic crack moments where I'm jonzing for a new Transformer.

Looks good, but I wish they would have gone will all transparent or all painted windows. Unfortunately, the Henkei version seems to have the same problem.

When Armada first came out and I was still in partial denial of it seeming like Playskool compared to RID, I really, really would've liked this figure.

In retrospect, Armada was 95% horrible, the gimmicks, the toys, the show, all of it....so this character is severely tainted for me, especially since it was clear that he was basically either Bumblebee or Hot Rod and they didn't have the names secured.

I'll say this, though, that's what the figure should have been all along, so kudos to Hasbro for learning. It's a great version of Hot Shot.

 

Hey, with this release, it means all of the Yellow kid appeal characters have been released for the Classics line!

- Bumblebee
- Cheetor

Mm..So this new version does not come with the launcher. Does it have any form of weapon then? Because I can only see his Mini-Con & nothing else.

Hmm, looks good. Maybe I wont go for Henkei after all. The launchers aren't that bigger deal.

 

Really a shame to harm the look of an otherwise great alt mode to make room for a helicopter to clamp on. But such is the way of Armada. "Yeah, design that motorcycle so a tiny aircraft carrier can connect between the handlebars."

Armada continues to cause "suck" from beyond the grave.

On the upside, Hotshot is the only Armada design deserving of a second chance, and this toy does him right. Will buy.

 

this hotshot is an awesome toy in both modes, but i never liked his color scheme.
