I would definitely get the Vehicon first. After that I would go for Ratchet or Arcee then Hotshot.

Like you I liked the looks of hotshot and decided to pick one up as my one purchase of the Prime BB mold. While Hotshot has warmed on me a little, I would still go for Ratchet or Arcee before Hotshot.

I would get one. I wasn't too crazy about the Bumblebee figure, but the paintjob and headsculpt on Hotshot makes me glad I have him. He is a good looking figure. Definately get Vehicon first if you can find it though.

Where I'm at, Hotshot and Bee are the shelfwarmers around here :p  So yeah I think you can hold off on him. It doesn't help Hotshot that he isn't an in show character.

    :lol

It's a nice deco, and an interesting head sculpt on a fairy lackluster mold.

I'd place it pretty low on the list of DXs released so far.

Hot Shot is pretty fantastic. As Bumblebee the mold sucks ass, as I do feel the FE mold does him better...but as Hot Shot I really love it. The colors are real nice and interesting, and the new head is pretty damn awesome. He really is a good figure I think and he would definitely be a good choice to get.

Depends how much you like Hot Shot in general, really. The paint scheme is nice and I agree that it's a much better use of the mould than Bumblebee is, but he isn't likely to turn up on the show itself - maybe in the comics or other tie-in media though. He's probably safe to leave until last to buy though, as they're two to a Wave 3 case and not likely to sell that fast due to being basically the same as Bumblebee and not on the show. (Complete speculation, I know, but I did just sell some figures to a dad for his son and the son didn't want HS because the transformation and weapons were the same.)
