Which set do you like better? The original G1 toy-accurate or the new Comic-accurate edition?

I have to say that both are awesome in their own way but, I really think the Comic edition is better because it has more personality.

    What do you think?

I like the "comic" one. Became a fan of Hardhead when watching Headmasters, so that's the design I prefer.

I'm really digging the new comic one, may have to come up with the money for it.

I like the comic version. Just got the original a few days ago. And probably won't be shelling out for this one.

Dunno which I like better but I'll probably leave the old one with my G1 figure and use the comic one on the Universe figure.

They are both fantastic in there own way. I have the first which is what the toy had....but the new one captures the appearance every where else...so, I say get both!

The original one. Always preferred that design to the other one.

Proportionate on the Comic version? Or the first one's better?

I need to hear your take...

Wow, lotta comic face love. I grew up with the crazy looking g1 face so it was nice getting a more stylized update on that thing.

Where's the option for "Both"? I already own the first one, but I also love the new one and have preordered it.

The comic version has a lot of personality. That's why I sort of want to buy it now. I have the Hardhead (still sealed actually), and I passed on the first head upgrade. I liked it, but it was just a very low priority. So to see that they made a second head for this bot (wtf), and it's better than the first one I passed on, I feel like I lucked out because I like this one better. But you know what, they got me. I almost made it without buying a upgrade for wal-mart exclussive Hardhead. Pre-ordering a friggin head. an awesome head

With a gun to my head, I'll go with the comic version (preordered)...but I do like both and already like the original version I already have. The bigger question I'm mulling is if I pick up an extra Hardhead to display both, or just roll with one at a time for display.

They're both good. Haven't seen pics of the new version on a big screen so I can't really say. I did however preorder the new one. Found some Hardheads at Ross..
