I have a fair few of them. I'm after Ecto 1. I'll probably pick it up over the next couple of weeks.

    I have 2 extra Ecto-1's that I found.

Only other HWs I like are Nissan Skylines/GTRs and Zs

I think they are neat, but I don't go out of my way to find them mostly.

I did find some neat HW on my Holiday, a deluxe Green Lamborgini Reventon (speed masters or summat) and Battle Force 5, which reminded me heavily of Roadblasters back in the day.

I even bought the big Battle Force 5 Saber toy, with all the spring out bits and spinny cockpit! I find the larger HW toys to be really sweet actually. Anyone heard of Shogun Racers? I've mentioned them here before years ago.

I have a few of the Motorbike & Helicopters as well, some of them are quite smart and I have a great clear plastic HGV. it's been a while since I last picked any up, I might get a few of the Batman vehicles shortly.

I found an Ecto 1 at a Dollar Tree of all places. You might want to try looking at one of those.

I collected them for a few years but lost interest. I would love to sell the 180+ carded and probably 200+ loose ones I have.

I found the Ecto-1. Havent found one since... trying to find one for my buddy who is a hardcore Ghostbusters fan. I agree the collectors kinda ruin the fun they are rude and gobble up all the good ones!! I am pissed about that recolor ot the DeLoreon!! They were never freakin GOLD!!!!

I keep hearing bad things about HW collectors. Like they are the worst bunch that beats out all other collectors for some reason. I have yet to see any of these people though. Every time I go to Walmart, TRU, or Target, no one but kids seem to look at HW's.

The bulk of my collection is from my childhood. I was obsessed with cars and robots then, and I guess I still am. Only now I can buy REAL cars. I don't have a huge collection, 200 at the most perhaps. I have a number of new ones too, but they are only of the cars I like in real life like the VW GTI (man that was hard to find), Pontiac Firebird (70's, 80's, and 90's), Camaro's and Mustangs. I guess they're not very valuable, but I like 'em.

I have a few from when I used to collect toy-cars. However, I'm very selective as to what I purchase.
Now their sitting on the shelves in my closet making room for my TF's.

Hot Wheels is making Ecto-1?! My head just exploded from the awesomeness.

I loved their Batman line they had a while back. The Tumbler is a very awesome toy. And the DeLorean DMC-12 was an impulse purchase the other day. But this baby is what I want.

Actually, I believe a couple of gold plated ones were built, as display pieces.

EDIT: Have a look at the bottom of this page:

DeLorean DMC-12 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Seems they were built as some sort of bizarre financial special offer, for 80's guys with huge wallets.
